Patagonia is usually my go-to for sweatshirts and light jackets. I thought I'd take a gamble on L.L. Bean's version of their pullover sweatshirt and I'm sold. In fact, I like it better! It's roomier, washes well, has a nice color (I got the purple-ish colored), and is great for a casual work day, bumming around or going for walks. I'm planning to buy a 2nd in Kelly Green once it's back in stock!

I have owned the gray for several years and it was beginning to wear out. I love the softness and look of this sweater. So I had to buy another gray and added a black to my wardrobe. Casual, warm and comfortable.

You can enjoy wearing this fleece indoors and out. Order a size larger than usual for comfort and appearance.

I usually wear a small or extra small, but this pull over runs small and I needed a medium. But other than that, it is a great pull over.

Much thicker than I thought it would be. It feels like it's going to last literally forever.

Bought this because I like the fleeces with weight, not the 'exercise' ones with no mass to them. Fits well, and is nice and warm for playing outside with the dogs. Need more colors to choose from.

I have this sweater fleece in 2 different colors. Absolutely love these. They are so warm and cozy without the bulk. The light gray one is beautiful and goes with anything. The blue/green is a very nice color. LOVE these pullovers.

This sweater is high quality and the materials used are very warm. I have worn and washed mine several times and they still look like new. I ordered one and wore it a few times, then promptly ordered another. I live where winters are extreme, and this sweater is very warm without being bulky or high maintenance. The look is classic and the colors are beautiful.

I'm 5'8", 150 lbs., usually wear a med, but ordered this in a large because I wanted it to be more roomy. The feel of it is cozy and warm, the color, blue-green, is just that. I love it so much, I ordered the cranberry. The fit is just what I wanted. They wash well, no shrinkage. These seem to be true to size, so if you like a closer fit, you need to order your regular size. The collar lays down nicely if you want it to.

hesitant to purchase due to price, bought during a 20% off sale and so glad I did. I got the medium instead of small as I wanted to layer. The small was tough getting on and off and color and size were limited. The pullover is so warm you will not need a coat. Awesome pullover and would buy another in a heartbeat.

True to size...I'm 5 feet tall and 112 lbs. ordered size xs...perfect fit. Warm, soft, love the color blue/green. Goes with jeans or work out pants. Came back for another in light gray. Can't wait for it to arrive!

I bought one of these sweater fleece a year or so ago and it was snug, so I gave it to my daughter. This year, I took a chance that LL Bean had listened to their customers and made this garment correct to size. I'm 5'9", 175 lbs and busty (40DD) and I ordered an XL. It fits me perfectly. I have the light gray, black, moss, and maroon color and wear them all the time, under a down vest for outdoor or indoors, with a turtleneck underneath, when it's really chilly outside. I would have ordered all the colors but they were sold out in my size quickly. Please make more, LL Bean.

I have many of your sweater fleece items, including jackets and pullovers. The pullover fits pretty true to size and washes like a dream. LLBean -- would you consider getting rid of the gray binding around the collar? It would look so much better if it was the same color as the pullover! I have the red/black plaid sweater fleece pullover and it has black around the collar and looks so great. Please? Thanks.

This is by far the best ever! I love LL Bean! Don't let the "slightly fitted" description fool you. It does wonders for my middle. I'm 4'11" and 120lbs with a bigger bust and wear a size M perfectly. And, yes, room for a T-shirt underneath. I purchased the stunning 'pewter' and just ordered the 'sailcloth' and 'black'. I've received many compliments and "where is that from?" even with the LL Bean logo clearly on the chest! Go ahead and purchase this. It is even more perfect in person! PS: The kangaroo pocket is such a handy helper as a teacher when at recess!

I absolutely love this Sweater Fleece Pullover! After reading many reviews, I decided to order it in Medium, and I'm so glad I did. I'm 5'6" and 120 pounds with broad shoulders and a long torso. This pullover is roomy without being baggy, and I'm very happy with the overall length as well as the length of the sleeves. I didn't find it to be tight or difficult to take off as a couple other reviews stated. So far, I've only worn it with a t-shirt underneath, but I don't think I'll have any problem in colder temperatures wearing long sleeves as my base layer. This pullover provides the perfect amount of warmth, and I really love that the outside is a smooth sweater material. I think it looks nicer than just regular fleece. I love it so much, I just ordered a second one in another color.

This sweater fleece pullover arrived just in time for the cool fall weather. After reading the reviews I purchased a large and it's roomy enough to add an extra layer of warmth underneath the pullover for the chiller days and evenings so I don't have to wear a coat. Thanks L.L.BEAN for continuing to carry great products.

I ordered this about a month ago and I haven't wanted to take it off! I had a Patagonia fleece pullover similar to this, but this one is by far so much better (and cheaper)! I can actually have full range of motion and it is breathable. I will never order another Patagonia over this pullover! I love the pockets on this pullover, and I love the colors. I am 5'4" 155lbs and I ordered a large. It was a little baggy when I got it, but after washing it and air drying it it shrunk down to my perfect size. I could easily wear a long sleeve shirt under this and still have full range of motion.

I have this in several colors and I do like them a lot. The best features for me are the warmth, the fit, the pocket, the sweater fleece material, and the price for the quality. Having a few sweater fleeces from other competitors, I do have a few suggestions. The shoulder seams are a little bulky...I would prefer a smoother design. Secondly, how about making the trim in a similar color to the fleece? They all have the same gray trim...not my favorite. Overall a great product...maybe a few tweaks for next year!

This fleece fits SO well!! I wanted the grey but it was backordered so I settled on the teal and was not disappointed one bit! It's a great pop of color without being too forward. The front pocket is convenient and I never feel like I'm going to lose something out of it due to the lack of zippers. Finally, the buttons are infinitely better than a quarter-zip style fleece. My hair never gets caught in the buttons like it does with zippers! Overall, I'm VERY pleased with this purchase! I can't wait to wear it from the ski slopes to the lodge and beyond this winter!

Warm, cozy and great fit.

Extremely comfortable and warm, I just moved back to the midwest from the south and needed to buy new winter clothes and this is by far one of my best purchases. I'm considering getting it in another color too!

What more can I say beyond the previous reviews. I absolutely love the top; it's soft and nice and warm. Perfect to be worn on those cooler days; here in Arizona. I am really happy I purchased it.

This pullover is my new favorite, go-to top. I bought it while the weather was still warm, and I used the first dip in the temperature as an excuse to wear it as a shirt (no turtleneck, undershirt, etc.). It felt *wonderful.* I received several compliments from people who don't toss pleasantries around. The "kangaroo" pocket is capacious without being bulky or saggy. Now that the cold is here, I wear it nearly every week. I am buying the jacket version to add to the rotation. As comfy as it is, I offer one note of caution: It's not windproof or even wind-resistant. A breeze cuts right through it, so I recommend having several additional layers when you wear it on a cool and windy day.
