This jacket hung in my closet for a while before I decided to wear it for the first time. I am so impressed with how much I like it. It matches easily and can even be worn with dress slacks. I now have this one and the version with the hood on the back. Of course I would like more colors but I am looking for a sale or promotion! I have gained a bit of quarantine weight and the XL is still what I needed and would have been even before the weight gain. Whomever is considering this jacket, I think you will be pleasantly surprised! Thanks llbean!!

Could not ask for a better garment

I purchased this for spring and fall walks with my dogs and as a general use casual but stylish jacket, to take a step up from hoodies. It is my new favorite mid-weight jacket. The fit is a tiny bit more "fitted" in the sleeves than I typically prefer, but overall it is great for 40-60 degrees, light breezes, cooler weather walks. The look is stylish as well, with functional pockets that fit a full size iPhone in the breast pocket as well as the volumunous inside pockets. This is a great addition to my outerwear wardrobe.

I gave this to my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. He said, "I love it, especially the zipper pockets. Fits well and keeps me warm. I am very happy with it." I find that it looks really good on him and that the styling of the jacket is attractive. Not too casual, as some fleece garments can be. I had bought the comparable woman's sweater fleece with a hood, eggplant color, in a Petite size, and it's my favorite sweater for winter days when I'm working at the computer in my drafty house. It's also great for running to the drug store on a brisk but not frozen day. After washing mine a few times, it also seems to be wearing quite well. Wonderful product.

They call this a sweater, but I use it as a light jacket for cool days or when walking / working outdoors on days around freezing. It's lighter than my other fleece jacket, comfortable, warm, and sized generously even when worn over sweatshirts. It's not wind or waterproof, so it does benefit from a shell on blustery or wet days.

Having a closet well-stocked with intermediate layers from a few of the obvious outdoor clothing retailers, it took me a while to acquire this piece. Silly me. I haven't taken it off since it arrived a couple of weeks ago (late January/early February)! Surprisingly warm and wind-resistant. I couldn't be happier. Will likely buy another soon to spread the wear around, because this seems like a piece to wear seven or eight months of the year.

I am woman... I was looking for a lightweight jacket to wear during the winter when the weather allowed. I tried the women's jackets and they just didn't fit well. The men's jacket is perfect... though it is not as feminine as the woman's it is a great fit and I love it.

Was surprised how warm it was. Didn't expect to be able to wear it alone in Ct. in Feb. thinking about ordering another color just cuz.

Excellent jacket. Warm by itself or as an added layer when it gets really cold. As all LLBean products, well made, great value fr the price.

Since working at home has become a way of life it is great to have a fleece that is easy to take off and put on due to the full zip. I got the Large Tall and the sleeves are plenty long for my 37" arms. The jacket is comfortable for indoor and outdoor use.

Just what I was looking for; basically a light fall/winter jacket and this fills the bill nicely.

Great fit, warm, food sip up neck and a tad more dressy than normal fleece. Really like this!

This product is just what is needed for an additional layer either over a t-shirt or under a jacket. The color blue is a nice contrast to the usual color choices. Nice fit, too!

So far this garment has been warm and sturdy. I don't have any malfunctioning sippers, the fleece inside is soft against skin and I like the ability to unzip since most my seat jackets are pullovers.

Very warm and comfortable. Sleeves are a bit too long but easily cuffed. Would like to see a drawstring waist added to keep the fit snug

I needed a new fleece and usually buy Columbia, but LL Bean had a sale and bought one and I just love this fleece and think it is much higher quality and so comfortable. I purchased a light gray fleece and love it. I picked up my online order at the store and found the store very neat, well organized; I bought an awesome wind breaker that I use now too, though it has been too cold in the northeast for that, until Spring returns.. Highly recommend LL Bean.

Sometimes I am disappointed by LL Bean. Stuff is too large, etc. Colors are not the same when they arrive as they appear in the catalogues. Not this though. I love it. Fit is slightly large, but the jacket/sweater, whatever they call it is comfortable and warm. I even ordered a second copy in green, but it is back ordered for a couple of months. No matter. There will also be a winter in 2022.

The full zip fleece with 2 side pockets is perfect for full outdoor warmth in spring and fall and as a second layer in the winter. The fit is perfect. The zippers on the side pockets provide extra protection. The color is vivid.

I bought one of these at the local outlet....even though it was a man's medium and I am a ladies large. I liked the style and colors of the men's better. I was hooked so now I have two full zip without a hood and three full-zip with a hood. I love the zip pockets. The only thing that would have made the jackets better would be a 2 way zipper, but you can't have everything. The men's style is a bit shorter so I guess the 2-way zipper isn't really necessary for comfortable driving.
