I have been eagerly awaiting the opening of our first South Central Pennsylvania store (Mechanicsburg, PA). I was looking for something that I could wear that a zipper front. This fit the bill. The outer material is very handsome and can be worn in the field or a social get together. I purchased the blue color I liked it so much I went back and purchased the charcoal two days later. I highly recommend this product.

My entire family has these sweater fleeces in all different colors. They are super cozy and warmer than regular fleece. I think "jacket" is a bit of a misnomer as we wear them around the house, to do errands and they even look nice enough to go out to dinner. I bring at least one on every cool-weather vacation. I wish LLBean would make a really pretty pink or purple or bright Christmas/holiday red. My only complaint is that the non-neutral colors tend to be a bit muddy and muted (except for Lake blue which is as beautiful in person as it is on-line!)

I have had the Sweater Fleece vest and quarter zip for several years so I got his full zip. Just as nice as the others.

Well-made and plush fleece with usable pockets and sturdy zipper. It is quite thick material and a tapered body. Definitely a "sweater" rather than a workout or light lounging ware. For my size, not a lot of room for layers under - compared to my other LLB fleeces. But as an outdoor sweater over a light shirt, it's great.

I bought this Sweater Fleece for my son-in-law for his birthday. He has not received it yet. The reason I bought him this sweater is because I bought him a jacket and he loved it. Hopefully he will also love this sweater.

Unfortunately, I had to replace my husband's long-time favorite fleece LLBean jacket because it was ruined. It had held up extremely well for years and would have lasted much longer, I'm sure. Thankfully, this new one is just as well made. It has a great fit that is true to size and it has a very flattering cut. The hunter green is an intense color that almost looks black. The zipper pockets come in extremely handy, too--it's a great jacket!

I resort to LL Bean for their quality of merchandise and sizing, they always have XL-Tall items.

I love my fleece sweeter. It is high quality durable fabric. The dark grey was great for traveling. And the chest zip phone pocket kept my phone handy and out of the toilet!

Lightweight and comfortable, this jacket is great either layered or by itself. It's true to fit in that it's fitted but it is stretchy.
