This jacket has poor quality fabric. After washing, there was much pilling. The appearance of the jacket was poor. I'm disappointed because my previously purchased Bean fleece jackets and pullovers were much better quality. I will not buy this product again

When this first arrived my husband put it on and it looked great. Within a few days it started to pill. Now the pilling is so bad that it looks like a very old and worn out jacket.

This product is not as good as the old style plain LL Bean fleece jackets. Sizes run smaller, quality is subpar.

Disappointing. Not a sweater or a jacket. Cold air flows through the porous material like a sieve. Good for watching TV in a chilly room, but not much else.

This is not the fleece that we expected. This was more of a knit fabric, which snags easily, unlike fleece. It was hard to see the weave in the pictures, so we ordered it. But when we got it, we realized, this was not fleece. We sent it back.

Too tight in the chest and sleeves way longer than the original medium my husband has from a few years back. He ordered a small for a snug fit but had to return it.

Returned the sweater, it was not what I was looking for. Wanted a heavier fleece only-not sweater. My mistake

I should have returned this jacket. The material pills terribly. Received towards end of January and didn't pay attention as is hubby's jacket. He didn't wear much at first but the next winter I noticed material pilling terribly on arms and front. Just not up to LL Bean quality. I should have returned before year was up but didn't make it....just so surprised at the poor quality.

I was sad to see you no longer have the fleece in the same style. I ordered this as an alternative. It says it's slightly fitted, well it would be if I was 9 months pregnant. The back hung out about 12 inches from my back and there is no way to tighten the bottom. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.

Why should I have to order a men's coat to be able to fit my upper arms into the sleeves. I used to be able to order a 3x in women's sizes and be able to use the sleeves as any normal person.

Looked very good initially, slim fit, warm...but after only two washings it began to pill at the chest and neck. However, the service department thought it was normal wear (maybe at the sleeves and pockets, but not the chest and neck, which was very evident when worn). I did not think it was normal wear, because there was no pilling before the second wash.

Zipper failed after year and a half! Zipper sides separate by themselves. Must be a cheaper zipper than previously used on this fleece. Prior one lasted 6 years until I wore holes in the elbows - zipper never failed.

my problem with this jacket was that it pilled on the inside. It leaves balls of fiber all over what ever I am wearing underneath it. Because of that I would not buy it again.

The generic sizes, especially the larger, from Beam have for quite sometime been abysmal. XXL fit like a L, XXL tall fits like a tent but didn't think I could go wrong with a fleece type jacket but not only has the fit not changed but the jackets have also cheapened. The biggest surprise was no draw cord around the waste. For a coat that fits like a tent a draw cord comes in handy particularly when every jacket of this type comes with one as a prerequisite. Have never purchased this style jacket without one...

I purchased this fleece hoping that it would be up to the usual LL Bean standard. Not sure what happened with this one. It has received normal wear for the past five months and same care as other fleeces in the house. Other fleeces look fine, this one is terribly pilled and looks like it is 10 years old. A terrible purchase.

Nice fleece jacket but the sleeves are to fitted over an average fitted ll bean regular fitted sized shirt. I'm finding the fitted fleece jackets to be to tight in the arms for me. I enjoy LLBean products but not this product and unfortunately I'm going to return it with another similar sized product. I wish LL Bean would get away from fiitted sized products and go with a natural or a looser fit especially in the sleeves. I'm average sized too.

Sleeves are too long for a large, I also ordered one 2XL it didn't fit my son and I was disappointed that it didn't come in 3XL...the additional 2XL for my other son still hasn't arrived and was promised for the 29th of DEC...All in all I am not pleased and will not be ordering from LLBEAN again!! I will warn others NOT to order because your shipping is unreliable!

I liked the jacket well enough at first, but the finish just did not last. The fleece is pilling very badly on the waist and the sleeves and is getting matted around the neckline.. none of which is very flattering.
