I would have given this jacket 5 stars but for the colorful LL Bean tag on the chest. My husband loves this jacket, but refuses to have that splash of color on his chest. He spent 30 minutes carefully picking out every stitch to remove it without creating a hole in the knit. Now he says it's perfect! If the logo had been the same color, or stitched monogram-style in the same color, he would have been fine(ish) with it. He travels a lot, and this is a perfect weight to wear on a plane.

I bought a size small LL Bean sweater fleece Full-zip jacket. I am 5'7" 152 lbs.. Everything fits very well except for the length of the arms. I am not sure if a size XS would have a shorter arm length but this style of jacket doesn't have that size. I will just have to have it altered to fit my arm length. Other than this issue I am pretty satisfied. I would have given it a 5 stars if not because of this issue.

Love these fleeces but pilling occurs easily. just needed to order new ones but they lasted about 3 years before the pilling became very noticeable. I own three of them.

I bought for a summer Alaska trip. Was perfect weight alone or under a raincoat. Only complaint is that it's a bit wide around the waist. I'm 6'5" and 220lbs

I have a couple of these, and I wear them both a lot. This has the features of pricier versions for a fraction of the price. If you are seeking technical clothing for your next ascent, you may want to look elsewhere. But if you are happy with something functional, comfortable, and durable, you can't go wrong.

High quality, stylish, very warm. Pockets are perfect for wallet and cell phone. The collar is great when zipped up but a little unruly when folded down. This may even out over time.

This was a gift to my grandson. I cannot give it a rating.

Feels soft. Seems it is more fitted than a medium older jacket he has. So ordering next size.

I really like this zippered sweater fleece. It's warm and comfy and fits It's hard to gets the sleeves pulled all the way in when you have a long sleeved shirt on. If this had a lined sleeve for easier sliding on with a long sleeved shirt I would have given it 5 stars!

The jacket is beautiful but I bought a 2X for my husband and the arms are too long.

I bought this for my son. He is a grown man. The Fleece looks good and the size is generous so he likes to wear it. It is a great product!

appears to be well made, just not exactly what i was hoping for, but it wasn't advertised to be what some of my older bean jackets are.

A Lot of your clothes jackets parkas and Sweaters have to be hand washed and you can not get the items machine washed or Dry cleaned and the is a real pain in the neck but your sweater or very nicely made and come in nice colors and keep you very warm and I greatly appreciate it thank you

It was almost exactly what I wanted. It is very warm, very attractive and seems to be very well made. The only minor complaint that I have is that although this garment is fitted, the sleeves appear to be a little tight for me and could use a little more room. However, as I said, I am very pleased with the garment and would purchase another one again except this time I would get a larger Size. Not because I need one, but I would want more room in the sleeves.

The jacket looks good and fits well. Unfortunately it started pilling after 3-4 wearings.

I ordered this jacket in a tall size but it's still not quite tall enough, believe it or not. Im 6'4" and need all the kength i can get. Still, very comfortable and good looking.

Nice sweater and the material is comfortable. Personally i couldn't get the coller to fold. When the coller if not folded it isn't even. But the sweater itself is nice.

Nice fleece. I'd like for it to hold its shape a bit better. It tends to conform more to my pear shaped body than I'd like. Still, it is an excellent value.

Great jacket at a good price. Fit me well(6'199lbs). Does not have bottom fastener to tighten, but not a problem for me.

Nicely made mid weight fleece. It is handsome, and my wife likes it which is what I most care about.

I ordered a medium in eucalyptus. I'm 5' 10", 167lbs. I have had it for about two months and washed it a couple of times so I cannot comment on long term wear. The fabric, construction and color are really nice. The body and sleeves are the right length for me. The cut is on the trim side. If you have a large chest you may find your regular size constricting. Likewise, if you're a few months along with a carb baby, it will definitely show. But I find the cut works for me. The biggest drawback is the collar. It can be annoying. It is a stand up collar and does not flop open as does a competitor's version of this jacket. The collar instead stands straight up and rubs against the neck. If I haven't shaved in a day or two eg, every weekend the stubbles rubs against the fleece like Velcro. If you look at the photo of the Bean Outsider, the guy with his dog, you will see how the collar stands up close to the neck. If you have a long, skinny neck, the design may work for you. Can the collar be folded down? Sure. But the look is awkward. An improvement would be to make the collar less tall and less structured.

Very nice look with the smooth fleece on outside but already starting to pill.
