I purchased this sweater fleece as a birthday present for my husband and was nervous. He's fairly picky about his clothes, and this was his first sweater fleece. Most of the ones he had seen were gray, but I ordered the forest green. This is a deep, rich color that's much prettier than pictured online or in the catalog. He loves this fleece! The large fit is perfect, especially sleeve length, which are often too long for him. He loves all the pockets, with zippers that work smoothly. The jacket is so soft, comfortable, and very warm. It's a hit!

I purchased a navy sweater fleece full-zip a year ago and it's been my go-to jacket for travel and around town when the temperatures are lower than for a regular fleece jacket, but warmer out than for a heavier winter jacket. It's one of my most useful pieces of clothes I own, which motivated me to write a review.

This is my husband's favorite jacket! It looks nice and he says it is super warm. When one begins to look used, it becomes a work jacket and we replace it with a new dress jacket just like it but different color so we know which is which. It washes well and still looks great! This is a must have at our house!

I've been wearing this jacket for the past six years during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. It looks and feels as good today as it did when I received it as a gift six years ago. One of my favorite things about it is that the material has some stretch to it, unlike other kinds of fleece that aren't stretchy at all. My other favorite feature of this jacket is that it's breathable, which sets it apart from other kinds of fleece. It has held up extremely well: the zippers still work perfectly; the color hasn't changed despite many washings; and it hasn't shrunk or changed shape. I recently bought another one because I loved the first one so much.

Bought this as a gift. My boyfriend wanted one for Christmas and into the store. Good quality, nice color and very warm. Great for layering for the winter if needed, over and shirts under if needed.

It's just the perfect jacket. So well made and you can literally wear it year round. I have multiple colors depending on the situation. The grey heather is my favorite with charcoal grey a close second.

Saw this jacket in hunter green in ll bean lehigh valley and it caugh my eye. Didny have my size so ordered it in xxl tall. Im 6'3" 285lbs. Xxxl was too large. Nice look for business casual. Love chest phone pocket and side zipped. I also thought as it aged, i use it for early archery or a base layer.

The sweater fleece jacket is the perfect jacket for cool weather between winter and spring.

I previously had another brands pricier version of this jacket but had dropped a lot of weight and changed sizes. I can say, without hesitation, that the LL Bean Sweater Fleece is better than the more expensive brand. From the construction, the comfort, the warmth and the thoughtful design, this is a superior product in every way. I like all of the reinforced seams designed into this. It's a sturdier jacket than the other brand I owned. It's also warmer. I can go outside with the dogs in the morning when it's 20 degrees and feel fine in this. It's also good in the low to mid 50's. Just a very comfortable, versatile garment. LL Bean knocked it out of the park on this one and reminded me why I prefer their products over trendier brand names. I won't make that mistake again. Save the money and buy this one -- it's a better product. As for the sizing, I'm on the edge of a L to XL (have big shoulders, arms and chest) and the L fits me perfectly with room to give. I wouldn't size down if you're an XL, but if you're a L (usually) I think the Large will fit you spot on.

I'm 6'1", 175 lbs and the medium/tall is a great fit for me.

Fantastic jacket. Great weight. Fitted styling is flattering. Much nicer appearance than most fleece jackets. Looks great dressed up or with a worn pair of jeans. Zippered chest and side pockets are a bonus.

New customer. Great product with fantastic material.. just warm enough for a cold day. Comfortable and well fitting, once you get the right size that is. The built in sizing chart app isn't that accurate so ended up sending back regulars for talls, but overall very happy with everything I've bought so far.
