Have worn these shirts for the best part of 40 years and have NEVER been disappointed. Would like to see the Irvine plaid added and the Lindsey plaid returned to the offerrings

Was attracted first to the color of the plaid. Have washed it 3-4 times since purchasing, and if you hang it up right out of the dryer, it looks and feels fine. But who irons flannel anyway? Colors haven't faded, and the length and overall fit are excellent (XL) for a 6'2", 185 man. Fabric is soft without feeling flimsy.

Probably the most comfortable and nicest looking flannel shirts I have owned although I rarely use them where I live,but they are great when I leave my home state.

I'm 6'1", 185 lbs. Medium Tall fits perfectly, including arm length. The material is soft and warm, without being too warm or heavy. Monogram on left wrist looks elegant. Washes well. Great shirt.

I just bought two of these shirts. Great fit and quality and at a great price. Looked at other flannels in dept stores and other outdoor on-line stores. Can't beat LL Bean.

My wife and I live in Colorado where we can have some really cold days during the winter months. She and I have both worn LL Bean flannel shirts for years, in fact I'm going to buy her another one for Christmas again this year - she always appreciates it! They are soft, warm, and extremely comfortable. Simply put - the best flannel shirts - EVER!!

This Wallace Tartan flannel shirt is wonderful. Soft and warm with rich, deep color. It's the mist comfortable flannel I have ever warn. Being a Wallace I am proud to wear my family's tartan on such well made and comfortable shirt.

I love these shirts, other brands just fall apart after time and wear, but this does not. Unfortunately my build is very tapered, and it means that these shirts are very very roomy in the tummy area. I would love for there to be a tapered or 'trim' fit for them. There are trim fit flannels at LL Bean, but the patterns of the shirts here are far better.

shirt is of good quality in workmanship, mid weight, warm flannel shirt . Only problem was on measuring size, I fall in between L tall and Xl tall, cost $6.50 to send back with their postage tag. Suggestion, if fall between sizing, order the larger of the two. Would buy product again.

I have at least 5 of these shirts and I received this one on time. I washed the shirt and am wearing it now. My daughter complimented the shirt on me this morning. Very comfy & warm.

To avoid any confusion, I bought the Scotch Plaid flannel Grey Stewart shirt. I thought it might be too conservative (dark) but it truly is the color you see if you zoom up close on the website. The fit is perfect, the fabric is exactly as described, and the sleeves are right on. The chest might be a bit tight so keep that in mind when selecting the size. I was so happy, I purchased another shirt, different color, 2 weeks later!

Please bring back the Macbeth flannel, it's literally the best flannel one could have and I need a new one. Thank you!

Have several of these Scotch Plaids. Recently bought the Buchanan plaid. It is comfortable , warm and can wear it to work. Glad I purchased early as this pattern in L has sold out early. Have received many compliments on the Buchanan!

Look no more......over time, I've purchased and worn flannel shirts from other noted brands, these are far and away the best in every way. These are soft and comfortable as opposed to rough and scratchy. These are a lighter weight yet block out the wind and keep one warm, They also maintain their shape after being washed and don't pill........it's really quite an awesome shirt.

These are the BEST Flannel shirts you will ever own...They are soft and warm and once you wear them, you will NEVER want any other brand...my father was a plumber so I know about flannel...wish these were available when he could have worn them, but when I wear mine, I think of daddy every time!! If you know someone who wears flannel shirts...this is the one to win their heart!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Bought a couple of these for husband for birthday (Dec baby) - he loved them so much that we ordered a bunch for gifts - including me! Love these shirts, warm, fit well and just plain comfortable!

Soft, and then there's LL Bean's customer service. Ordered a size small because previous reviews said these shirt ran very large, we found the small was, well, small. Returned for size medium for a man who wears size medium shirts; arrived in no time. Magnificent soft flannel. The medium size fits like a shirt you'd wear over a t-shirt for running errands, hiking with the dog, or working out in the shop on a cool day. Now I am back, ordering two size large for extra comfort while lounging in the evening. I think they run very true to size, and the customer service couldn't possibly be better.

I love this flannel shirt! Soft, comfortable and large buttons which make it easier to button and unbutton. Do yourself a favor and get one! Or 2.

Colors were vibrant and fabric is soft and comfortable. Excellent fit. Good value for the price. My husband was pleasantly surprised and decided to wear one of them the day they arrived.

Perfect fit and outstanding quality

Bean's scotch plaid flannel shirts are among the very best flannel shirts I have seen. The flannel is heavier than most other retailers shirts and the plaids are outstanding. The flow of the plaid pattern repeat across the button placket is a bit off. They wash/dry nicely, but some ironing is required. New this year is the Macrae of Conchra tartan plaidIMO, it's an absolutely beautiful shirtnavy, white, red and yellow plaidtraditional and tasteful! I like it so much, I also got Bean's mini tartan sport shirt in Macrae of Conchra, too! Nobody does it better than L.L.Bean!
