Excellent fit, vibrant colors, very warm

My husband has self-described gorilla arms - as in 36-37 inches long and these shirts fit him very well. They are super soft and remain like new after several washes.

The shirt is wonderful and well made but it is huge. I ordered an extra large but it fits like a double X. A large shirt normally is just a tad snug when I button it so I ordered extra large. Plus it was very long and it ran down mid thigh. If you get the size right then the shirt is great.

Bought this for a gift. The plaid (ordered scotch plaid) is well matched and a very nice color/combination. It is not garish at all, despite being somewhat bright colors. The flannel is very soft and washes well. Cut is good for being comfortable, and what else would you want in a shirt like this? Recipient really likes itclassic "apres-ski" by the fire.

My dad wanted flannel shirts for his birthday, and this was the perfect pick. I am going back to buy more for Christmas... Thick, but not too thick, and so soft. He loves them! They also carry slim fit for skinnier guys. ;-)

The Scotch Plaid I recently purchased has been by far my best clothing purchase ever at LL Bean. Not only is it the most comfortable shirt I've ever worn it has received the most compliments ever. You can wear this with jeans or dress slacks. I highly recommend it!

I purchased two flannel shirts as a gift for my husband but decided to give them to him when they arrived. The weather outside is cold and rainy but the shirts are warm and comfortable! LL Bean flannel shirts are the best!

I'm usually a Medium. Wear a 40R jacket, 31x30 pants. The Medium was way too big, esp in the sleeve length. Small fits much better on me.

My latest Bean Flannel shirt just arrived a few days ago. The material is beautiful. Wonderful color, feel, richness. The fit is very good for me too.

I can't say enough about how great this shirt looks on my husband. Two thumbs up! The colors really stand out and don't fade during washing.

Great fit! I love the Lindsay color and only wish it was available in the women's flannel. This is a fantastic flannel shirt and the wearability is excellent.

I now understand why customers love these. They're incredibly soft and comfortable. This was to see what the hype is about, and I'm really glad I bought one. I will be getting a couple more and maybe one or two of the other flannel shirts I've seen in the catalog.

I'm 6' and 200 lbs, purchased a large-tall and couldn't be more pleased. After 6 wash and dry cycles there is still no noticeable shrinkage. Ordered my second and received the same quality fabric and workmanship I've come to expect from LL Bean. I'll be ordering my third shirt soon.

I haven't wore flannel shirts in years, but the scotch plaid flannels caught my eye. ordered one based on the reviews. Soon as I received the first one, ordered the second. Very soft, comfortable to wear. Looks great, well made. Even nice enough to wear to the office on cold snowy days.

My husband has shirts from Land's End, Eddie Bauer, Izod, etc and your shirts hold up and look good out of the drier better than any others. Keep up the good quality, we appreciate it!

Hubby has long arms, and we like LL Bean Tall shirts for excellent fit and durability, too. This shirt is very soft and great to layer for changeable autumn weather.

Comfortable flannel with a loose fit to accommodate long underwear in the winter.

soft, perfect fit true to sizing, washes well and looks brand new. warm but not overwhelmingly...just right. have to get other colors now !
