I have spent more on premium flannel shirts, but have never found any better. They don't shrink, they're soft as anything, and last for years. One thing though: They are really big. Save yourself a return, and order a size down. Besides that, it's the best flannel you can buy, at any price. I do wish they had some solid colora colors though.

LL Bean flannel is a clothing staple ... comfortable, cozy, and campfire ready. Wear flannel shirts for all occasions during the year ~ get better with age. Minimal shrinkage and roomy enough for muscular build.

My husband has over the years purchased almost all of the flannel scotch plaid shirts in traditional style! They are warm, not tight fitting and last through lots of washings and dryer cycles! Do not discontinue them!

A very nice flannel shirt. It is both very soft and thicker than most of my other flannels. I recommend sizing down, as I usually wear a medium but it was very oversized on me. I went with a small and it fits me well, although still on the bigger side of fitting well. Very happy with the purchase.
