Short and sweet: very comfortable, well-made, true to size, and good-looking. I would describe it as medium weight; not too light, not too heavy. I purchased the extra large tall, which provides just the right amount of extra length for me. Highly recommended.

Great shirt! Colors are beautiful, rich, and bright The shirt is so very soft; I washed it before wearing it, dried it on low and hung it up as soon as it came out of the dryer. It is perfect, either over a tee shirt or just buttoned all the way up. We don't get many chances to wear a flannel shirt in Florida, so this one will probably last me years! I would recommend this shirt to anyone who loves a cozy, warm, soft flannel shirt. I love it.

I bought this for my very picky husband. He loved it! The fabric is soft with just enough warmth, washes beautifully, and the plaid is gorgeous. He liked it so much I got him another one in a different plaid.

The colors were very vibrant and the flannel feels so soft! My boyfriend thought I couldn't keep my hands off of him, but it was really the shirt I couldn't keep from touching...lol

I have purchased the flannel shirts in the past and will continue to do so.

I bought this as a gift for my son for Christmas so not positive on the fit, but the plaid is beautiful and the fabric is very soft. Hope he likes it!

This is a fabulous flannel shirt - true to size, soft, luxurious flannel that is easy to care for and looks great.

Beautiful colors after washing; sleeves were long enough and didn't shrink. My husband loves wearing these shirts.

Very comfortable and would buy again. Only downside is that there is only one pocket and it is not deep enough for my IPhone. Other than that, great shirt!

This is a fantastic shirt. I bought a tall size because I have large arms, and the shirt then, obviously, is quite long, but looks perfect when tucked in because the sleeves are the proper length. Amazing product. Just bought one more.

I bought this one for my husband - we both have many LLBean flannel shirts. We love the traditional (not fitted) options. We are both in our 70s with rather thick middles, so the looser fit works well for us. Bean's flannel is wonderfully soft and warm, washes well and last a long time.

The colors are very nice, the fit is right on; the only thing I don't get is why it has a button-down collar. On a flannel shirt? Odd.

The sleeves were a tad too long. Otherwise the shirt fits well and the plaid is beautiful.

This flannel shirt is the best my husband has ever had. It has flannel. Very thick and warm. My husband won't buy anything else again. A cousin told us its all he buys so we tried and love it. The colors are so rich and shirt is soft.

Buy this now. Stop reading this and buy the flannel. Why aren't you looking for your credit card? I've got like 15 flannels from LL Bean and wish I had more. My wife said if I bought anymore she would leave me. I bet her next husband won't be as comfortable as me. If you don't like this flannel it's you not the flannel. I wake up every morning just so I can put one of these on my weird awkward body. It's a fact that people who wear flannels are 90% more likely to feel joy. It's just a fact

These flannel shirts are my go to with leggings and a turtleneck when it's chilly Perfect weight and keeps it's nice look through many washings!

Beside receiving compliments for my flannel shirts, I wear them often and always feel comfortable in them.

I have several of these plaid flannel shirts in different patterns and all are XL. This shirt is now a significantly bigger fit, and I needed a Large.

I would never, ever consider buying a flannel shirt from anyone else. This is one of many purchases from LL Bean, but not the last. I am still wearing the flannel shirt I purchased from LL Bean more than 20 years ago. No pilling, no holes, no seams coming apart, although it may be a bit thinner from all the wear and washings it still holds up and is one of my favorites. We have been loyal customers for 40+ years, we have seen changes through the years but not in the quality of merchandise.

Quality made and true to fit. I am wearing one right now. Excellent comfort and very warm.
