Fits fine except sleeves are a bit long

Husband loves his new shirt. Fits and looks great. My only complaint is that it needs to be touched up with an iron once you take it out of the dryer. I think it's because it's a bit heavier weight than some other flannel shirts.

A sleeve button fell off when first used.

The only complaint I had about this shirt is that after the first washing, I found one of the buttons still in the machine.

Love the shirt - heavy but soft. Would have given it 5 stars except for the stupid monogram.

Somewhat larger than expected. Sleeves longer and looser fit than what I wanted, but that's better than the slim fit other companies' shirts have these days. Soft fabric. Good colors.

Returned this shirt, and exchanged it for a smaller size which was perfect.

The only way this shirt could be better is to add a button where the sleeve opens at the cuff. Otherwise, it was very good. It washes up well and needs very little, if any, ironing.

Great shirt soft and very comfortable. I will buy again in the future.

Seemed good quality, liked the material. The XL was way big on me, though. Other XL shirts in the same order all fit fine, so I know I'm not shrinking.

I love these shirts, love the tartan patterns. They are great casual flannels, the only way that they could be better for outdoor use would be to put two LARGE button flapped pockets on them, then they would be perfect!

So I really really like how soft this shirt is. It fits wonderfully, not tight on arms or shoulders as i have ran into with other flannel shirts. so now it's just to see how well it holds up and if it shrinks or not.

Warm; good for Fall through Spring. It doesn't show in the picture, but the green color adds a little life.

This is a good quality flannel shirt compared to other flannel shirts that I have purchased. I can not speak for the life and wear of this shirt as I have only washed it several times but it still looks good after several washings and still fits the same. The price is a little high I think but if it wears well and lasts a long time then it is worth it, time will tell. It is also a nice warm shirt.

PRO: Fits well. Feels great. CON: Needs both cuff buttons moved inward for better fit, or add another button.

The shirt itself is made from lovely, high-quality fabric with a good plaid. But the sizing is Enormous! My husband is not a string bean and he was just swimming in the shirt. Not only was it built too wide with the shoulders about 4 inches off his actual shoulders, it was close to night shirt length. Tucking that much fabric into pants would have added the appearance of 20 pounds. I have ordered a size L and will return the XL. But calling this Traditional fit begs the question of What the Heck Tradition would this be?

L. L. Bean's flannel shirts are legendary. I like the slightly heavier weight fabric than what I find at many department stores. The shirt is well sown and stitched. The colors on this particular shirt are rich and deep. The red stripes of the plaid create a warm glow on the dark black fabric. My only concern is that the double button cuffs are sown for a tighter fit than on other Bean flannels that I own. I can usually wear the cuff with a little room to spare when it is buttoned on the tighter position. With this shirt, even on the looser position, the fit is still somewhat tight. Of course I can fix this myself; but the company might want to know that the manufacturing parameters may be changing at one of their shops.

I love these flannel tartans. This shirt is a replacement for a Black Stewart I've worn out. I like this one but I prefer the print on the older one.

The quality of this shirt is great. Nice weight and fabric. Would have given the highest rating except for one small issue. When buttoned, the top button is too low, leaving too much chest exposed.

Very nice shirt. Looked better to me in person when I got it than the picture. Comfortably warm as you would expect. Fit was a bit of a surprise. I have bought a number of different XX size items from Bean over the years. This is the first time I would it was a bit over sized. Both in the sleeve and shoulder but especially the sleeves. Sleeves could have been 1" to 1 1/2" shorter. But overall OK. I am keeping it. Just using the second button on the cuff.
