Excellent quality. Seams appear well finished. Shirt is very long, sleeves very long, just like I wanted. Pocket matches plaid exactly. Front opening matches plaid very closely. Side seams are way off, like opposite like it's one of those checkerboard floors. Matching the plaid on the side seams would have earned the 5th star.

Shirt is soft with a generous cut. It's large enough and long enough.

Nicely made but a bit thin for the money. It looks good, fits nicely but it is not an outdoorsy product.

There are 2 things that L L Bean has removed from their otherwise fine shirt. For a number of years they have been one of few shirt vendors that do not place buttons on the sleeve plackets. This makes an otherwise comfortable shirt in to one that allows cool/cold air to reach the shirt sleeves easily. This can make for an uncomfortable feeling. I also noticed that the sleeves are longer, and looser than is called for in a Traditional size shirt. The sleeves seem to be made for an orangutan.

I love these flannel shirts but found out the hard way about the sizing. I have bought Medium for years and moved to large a year ago. This last purchase was larg traditional fit and there to big for me. I thought large was large . I needed them for trip and didn't have Time to return them so I am just living with a baggy look! And they don't shrink like others (unfortunately) haha

I purchased this flannel shirt for my grown son for Christmas. He needs the XL size but the sleeves are a little too long. We'll see after it is washed & dried if it'll need to be altered. Very pretty plaid, color and oh, so soft.

The shirt is great. Warm and fits great the but color green on the website is not the same color green as is in the shirt. It appears to be a brighter Christmas green as i like to call it but it is actually a forest green in physical appearance, Thats the only reason it didnt get 5 stars. Color is off.

True to size well tailored,and good fabric quality

Beautiful shirt, excellent quality. I'm 5'6" and 168-171lbs. The body of the shirt was designed for someone built like a barrel. It would be nice if there was a more fitted or even tailored large size available. These shirts do not shrink much if at all. Please note I buy a lot of products from LLBean. I live on the East Coast.

I have been wearing LL Bean flannel shirts for 30 years. This latest one is just not as plush as the ones I bought a few years ago. That is a sad development. If you can't count on LLB quality staying at a high level, then what can you count on? I guess it's just the way that the clothing business goes these days - keep the price at a decent level, but cut the quality a small amount. It is notable to loyal customers, however.

decades of Bean flannel shirts (I'm 90) if the recent ones were less fuzzy it would have been 5 stars.

The material is really nice! Only giving 4 stars because it's a bit longer than other medium shirts I've purchased, even for a tuck-in shirt. I will have to tailor it down.

This shirt's as beautiful in person as in the picture. Very comfortable. Normal weight (some Bean shirts are heavier than others). Soft fabric. Launders well.

Full fit, is too loose, I should have gotten the tapered cut. Nice and warm.

5'10" / 165lbs / 38 chest / 32 waist Nice shirt, great colors. I'm not interested in slim fit, but this was very long and billowy. I will definitely try the "slightly fitted" next time.

I've ordered these shirts for my husband before and have always been satisfied with their quality. They are warm, they wash well, and they stand up for a long time. I was a little disappointed that two of the buttons began coming off immediately - one had to be fixed after his first wearing.

Great material but it fits a bit big. Easy to exchange.
