Last year I missed the "Leslie tartan flannel shirts" and this year I was in time. I like the LL Bean flannel shirts so much I purchased one for my son. I would recommend them to anyone that likes a good looking shirt that is warm and confortable.

Fantastic flannel shirt. Warm, but not too warm and a good buy. As others have mentioned the colors are much better than pictured on the website, especially swan.

My brother and I both have worn Bean plaid flannels for more than ten years. In fact, we both have these shirts that are well over ten years old, and they still look decent. The cloth gets softer with each washing, and they begin to feel as comfortable as pajamas.

I bought my first Bean Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt in the 70's. I now have it in nine different tartans. It is the very image and feeling of L.L. Bean to me. Comfortable, handsome and reliable.

I've been ordering the Scott plaids for years. Last twice as long as any comparable brand. Comfortable. Great for casual Fridays the first year. Hiking & photo shoots the second year. Working in the yard the third. Only available in the fall so order a few extra to have a new one to take out during the year.

Each year I buy the new color of this shirt for my husband for Christmas. He lives in these shirts all winter. These, a fleece vest, and a light fleece coat are all he needs to wear outside most days. The colors are beautiful, the patterns are gorgeous, they wear very well, and he looks mighty fine in every one of them.
My dad has started spending his winters up north again so he's also been getting Bean shirts for Christmas. It's really a can't miss gift!

Great Warm Shirt. Fits Great. Teal (Burgundy & Gray) Shirt Looks Better Than Picture. Wife Liked It. Not Too Work Shirt-ish. Good For Casual Or Casually Dressed Up.

The flannel is remarkably soft and the color combinations are very attractive. The shirt laundered well and could be worn straight from the dryer.

Great (green plaid) colors, ideal (light) weight, super comfortable flannel, and my wife says I look wicked handsome in it.

After the first wash a small hole was discovered under the collar. Shipping it back for repair is not practical for such a small hole - about the size of the tip of a finger. I'll repair it myself. Otherwise, satisfied customer.

Like the color, fits well as the other previously bought flannel shirts of this style. However the material appears to be lighter weight, not as thick as in the past. Previous shirts are all 5 stars.

Good old-timely flannel . . . Sleeves seem a bit longer . . . Or my arms seem shorter!

Quality is good. Sizing was off. Based upon the measurements listed, I needed an XXL. When
it came, it was way too big. I returned it for an XL, and to be honest, that was a little big for me as well, but I kept it. The return service was smooth, although it did cost me the $6.50 shipping fee.

Bought for my husband to add to the other 3 flannels I bought previously. He lives them in the cold weather.

I own this shirt in almost every color it is available in because I like it so much. Very soft and comfortable. I easily get two to three years of hard use of them.

Heavyweight flannel is bulky but great for cold, winter weather.

I have had a problem with ll Bean flannel shirts in the past. I've had to return many of them because the size is completely wrong. What I consistently received was "long" size when the package says "regular". I complained and called but the problem was never resolved. This was several years ago so I thought I would take a chance hoping the problem was resolved. Well, it was "sort of". The length of the shirt was OK on my recent purchase but the sleeves were still too long but I decided to keep the shirts because I tend to roll up my sleeves most times so I can make it work. Hopefully someone will read this review and solve the problem. I'm not holding my breath!

Very excited to find the Graham tartan in a flannel shirt. Went to Scotland in June with one of our kids. Here are three Grahams in front of the Graham Castle (circa 1390 AD) in Mugdock, Scotland, wearing the family tartan courtesy of LL Bean. Thank you!

I have 5 or 6 of these shirts. Used for work and casual wear. And if you run an iron over them, a night out with a collared shirt. Comfortable, sharp, durable.

I no longer buy Bean Flannel shirts. Reason for not Buying? After one wash the sleaves ALWAYS shrink by 2 inches. Even the extra ~1 inch they add to the TALL size's sleaves still too short after first wash and that doesn't really matter because the tall size's shirt length WAY too long unless tucked in (and nowadays most of us do not tuck in). I've tried all the appropriate sizes REG and TALL, XL, XXL.

My husband loves this warm flannel shirt. The pattern matches perfectly and it washes and dries without wrinkles.
