For several years now Rockport 9000s have been shrinking - the same size is getting manufactured smaller. My foot size of 8W has been unchanged.

It hapened to be about one size too big for my feet. It is impossible to get any answer by phone and for twoo weeks have requested by email a return label to have them exchanged for the appropriate size and so far haven't have any answer from your customer support. I'm stock with two pair of shoes that don't fit me.

They don't fit. And so far I can't get a refund or exchange. I am not too happy about that. They were very tight and felt very uncomfortable when I tried them on. I walked on the carpet a couple of times, but they never did feel any better. I would like a refund or exchange, please.

After reading your terms and conditions I don't think you are going to post this comment but here goes I wear rockports because of the quality not the price but recently quality has gone by the wayside I've been wearing these shoes for decades and I've watched them denegrate to the poorest quality some of your shoes still maintain that quality that's why I keep buying hoping that the pair I choose has that quality that was once a part of all your merchandise thanks for this opportunity to comment

I believe there may have been an error in labeling the shoes from the factory, as the shoes were marked with the correct size 8.5 but in actual is 8 and the same shoes but color brown has size 8 but in actual is the 8.5.

The shoes were a tight fit, stiff, and not at all comfortable. Also, a rough, uneven cut along the sole.
This purchase was quite a disappointment.

They are not comfortable and the removable sole is of poor quality . The green color is missing dye and it looks gray black .

Overall quality is non existent. The Prowalker was originally manufactured in Hungary a quality shoe. This Chinese effort is surprisingly being sold on Zappos. What's up?

I have been wearing Rockport shoes for 30 years, and this is the first pair that did not have a removable insert. Due to a foot condition, I have to use special inserts, and my other Rocksports have had removable inserts. I had to return this pair.

I bought these because I have long had good experience with the originals. I have been Very disappointed. They are much stiffer than previous editions, and sized much narrower. The soles/heels don't appear to be as high quality either. My past experience was no break-in period. After three months of intermittent wearing, these ones still don't feel broken in.

Based on my many years of successful wearing of Rockport walking shoes I anticipated a continuation of that success with this shoe. However, several things have changed in the makeup of the shoe which forced me to eliminate it from my inventory. Because I wear custom orthotics, I need to remove the cushioned insert. When doing that with this shoe I discovered that my foot was now in contact with a very hard surface which was not true of previous versions and my foot definitely did not work well with that surface. Additionally, (and this seems to be true of many manufacturers) the only width ratings available were M and W. My foot is narrower than M and even if the base of the shoe were softer the width of the shoe allowed my foot to slide slightly off of the orthotic which causes considerable discomfort. Sorry!

Bought a regular width 11 (my normal size and width) and realized they were way too narrow after a few days wear. I've had to buy some shoe stretchers to get them wider but still no success, I need to try some aggressive stretching which should eventually work. Buy the wide size.

The sizes are nowhere near correct ! My size 10's (as they were labeled inside the shoes ) were a clownish 2-3 sizes too large. I disappointingly sent them back.

I purchased the style called 9000 Prowalker, when the pair arrived I was angry because it was a black pair. The photo online definitely looked dark green plus the name Forrest Night implies dark green. I didn't feel like sending them back even though I have several black Rockports. It would be nice to hear back from someone about getting a green pair of Rockports my favorite shoes.

First, this is probably the 10th or more Rockport size 8W prowalker 9xxx shoe I have bought over many years and they have gotten progressively smaller in fit as Rockport appears to have used less and less materials. Second, the outside sole edges between the vibram exterior and the uppers are raw all around and ragged, unfinished looking like they were cut out from a raw sheet of material. Very unsightly to my taste. Nothing like the professional finish one finds on even the least expensive shoe. Oh and I really want a new M9211 (ask me if you need to identify that prowalker).

I liked the shoe, it was I excepted. The problem was the shoe was labeled as a 9W but was at least two inches larger than any other shoes I have. I would like to have another pair that fits me.

After wearing Pro Walkers for 30 years I was very disappointed when these arrived. I have 3 older pairs in my closet that fit fine. The ones I just received are pinched in the toe box. Obviously a different last. I would buy six pairs of the old 12 W Pro Walkers if I could find them.
