Took a chance leaving my standard Ecco and FJ brands and so far so good. I would say however that of course compared to Ecco the shoes are a bit more narrow thru the entire shoe but mainly in the arch....hoping with the leather they will soften up and I will be happy. That said I like their stability and comfort so far....

The golf shoe is very pleasing aesthetically. The shoe has been comfortable walking and the inserts could use some additional arch support. The top of the shoe around the ankle has caused some soreness, hoping the brake in period will be very quick. So far it appears to be a top quality golf shoe. Thanks

I ordered this and H1, knowing I would only keep one. I like the H2 look a little more, but I chose H1 because the built-in sock liner created a better fit. I'm breaking them in indoors on a simulator, but I also expect that liner will help keep sand out of the shoe (because yes, I will be in sand sometimes). I've worn J&M shoes for many years, but these are the first J&M golf shoes I've tried.

Love the comfort of the shoes, the durability is lacking. This is my sixth and seventh pairs. The other five the soles came unglued in 2-3 months

Seems narrower than the other J&M golf shoes I have purchased. I'm a medium width but had to remove the insert. Like the look.

Love the "old school" style and have battle tested both the brown and white with brown saddle playing 3 to 5 days week in both the heat and rain of Florida golf. First, they are most comfortable and by far have been kinder to my feet than another well known brand (with the square toe box). The calluses on both feet have now almost dissappeared since switching to these shoes and my feet stayed dry during a down pour with water up to the laces on the now well worn brown pair. The white pair with brown saddle will show marks under the laces that are difficult if not impossible to remove but the trade offs are worth it! Great product overall at a great price point if you can catch the special sales.

Although the outer material is leather, it looks a little like plastic. Otherwise the shoes are comfortable.

Because I don't live in the U.S. Although I ordered my shoes to be delivered to my daughter in law who lives in Denver, Co., my initial order was canceled without an explanation. After numerous emails I sent requesting an explanation, which were unanswered, I called by phone and was able to finalize my purchase. I suggest you review your policy in order to avoid this sort of occurrence. Thank you

Been trying to find a golf shoe that fits my wide foot and feels good during golf. Have tried on over a dozen different types and brands. I buy JM's for work shoes and have been my go to for many years. I have the golf shoes a shot and they are great. The black leather does get hot in the sun. I was hoping for some better ventilation, however dont mind because they are comfortable.

Very tight at the toe - I generally wear a wide shoe and the description suggested that their standard width supported wide width but I believe you would need to remove the arch support that would impact comfort.

I thought the width side after removing the inside sole would be wider.

I just received these shoes a few days ago and was surprised to see the leather cracked on the tip of the shoes. Looks like a distressed wear. Slightly tight fit. I have several Johnston & Murphy shoes and all are very good quality and fit.

Rubbed both heels badly. Fabric in heel very rough. Worked fine once tape applied.

These shoes are great - but need to be taken care of. I have a few pair that I rotate through over the course of the season. They are very comfortable, provide the traction necessary on the course and most importantly, waterproof; but when they dry, the exterior of the surface dries out and they look worn. I use the J&M shoe cream to restore the softness and luster and that works great! Also, when the soles' nubs get clogged with wet grass clippings, use a stiff bristle brush to clean them out and do not slap them together or against the ground as doing so may cause the soles' parts to separate from each other requiring either shoe repair or replacement. But FYI, J&M is excellent in backing their product albeit, somewhat inconvenient with having to ship the old pair back. That said, I will continue to purchase their products because of their quality, comfort, style and customer support!
