Super comfortable!

I know they're comfy when I forget i have them on! Nice sturdy sole.

Having had a serious fall last year that affected my entire foot/ankle (and other body parts!), my orthopedist recommended a supportive shoe and prescribed a foot orthotic (which my podiatrist fitted for me). Size 9 was "just right" and didn't give much extra room for my painful toes, so I sized up to a 9.5 Wide. The prescribed orthotic fit beautifully, and my podiatrist (who had highly recommended ASICS) was very pleased with my shoe choice. They are very attractive, and do not have that "orthopedic" look which I seriously needed to avoid. The other 3 shoes/brands that I had also ordered (to compare) just did not make me happy at all: they made my feet look HUGE, almost "swollen" in appearance, and the design of each was just not appealing. These ASICS checked off all the boxes: attractive, wonderfully padded without excess, easy to tie (I need to tie "loosely" to avoid pressure on tops of feet), provided stability to help me with gait issues, and the soles are great (no fear of slipping, as some other brands have been reviewed on some sites). The price itself was so appreciated. I had checked out this brand and others on other sites and in stores, and the price differences were a bit alarming in some cases. Being retired, I am very careful with pricing/quality. Thank you Zappos, for the phone help that I received, and for making me a truly happy customer. I hadn't shopped Zappos for several years, but I am definitely back! Will be looking at a dressier style, like Sass...

I have loved the gel ventures for years. I got these just in time for a heavy walking trip in DC. Perfect for the trip and future walking adventures

Comfortable

I wore a 7 1/2 in the Venture-7's. In the Venture 8's, I had to go up a half size to an 8. Still need a wide width in these shoes. Love these shoes. I wear them playing golf. Good traction and very comfortable.

My feet have apparently grown because I've always been a 9.5 or 10 wide, but these 10.5 wide fit very well!

Dream shoes. Must be my 8th or 9th pair of ASICs. They truly are the best walking shoes.

These is my 6th pair of ASICS gels. I just don’t think there is a better shoe out there for me.

Fit and size perfect. Good for taking long walks

These shoes fit right out of the box! I actually tried them on at a local store in my size but ordered them on here because they had better colorways. The selection in a women's 12 in stores is limited. They are not too heavy but give the support I need. I can't wait to use them to go hiking!!!
