I wear these for long walks and working out. They give great support. They are a little bulky, but I blame it on my big feet. Overall a good shoe.

The fit of these sneakers was perfect. I have been wearing them for my daily hike They are so soft and comfortable - and they have great support.

I love ASICS. I wear them on the tennis courts, and now I wear them hiking. They have a very roomy toebox, which I appreciate Good looking shoes, too.

10 + stars. ASICS Women's GT-2000 10.5 W + custom orthotics = Mobility and Comfort. At 68 yo the narrow feet of my youth are now wide and flat and over pronating. Add full body arthritis and mobility is limited. Just put these on and had zero pain when I walked my two crazy little dogs. Very stable. Try these if you have similar challenges.

This is my 1st pair of ASICS and I find them to be very uncomfortable and true to fit, the price was exceptional and they were true to what was advertised. I will order ASICS again.

I buy gel ASICS exclusively, but this is the first Gel-Venture 8 I have ever bought. They are hands down the best ASICS I’ve ever owned. Incredibly comfortable and lightweight (which surprised me since they are advertised as trail running shoes and I thought the extra grip tread might make them heavier)! My husband is envious and is now going to buy them for himself. I’m a hard core walker and average 5-7 miles brisk walking a day. I Definitely recommend the Gel Venture 8!

My son kept borrowing my shoes - so I bought him his own pair. He needs arc support as he is growing at a fast rate, and his podiatrist recommended ASICS. He finds these shoes comfortable, and wears them all the time. So far, no foot pain when running or playing sports.

I normally size up in sneakers - my normal size is 7, and I purchased an 8. This provides a little extra room in the toe area even when the laces are tightened. I purchased them for gym use - but are so darn comfortable and cute, they have now graduated to outdoor use.

This shoe was a little narrower in the toe box than previous Asics I have owned. (I have worn Asics for years.) I ordered 2 pairs and began wearing one. It was not so tight that I could not wear the shoes. Then not long after I broke my little toe, and it appears it will never be the same as before the break. Now the shoes are definitely too tight. I am returning the pair I had not yet worn.

i have a bunion so its a little tighter than i planned and usually 7.5 fits well

I have been wearing the Asics venture 7 for a few years, and am equally pleased with the venture 8s. The toe box is a bit more roomy, and there seems to be a bit more cushion in the heel. Zappos was out of the color shoe I wanted, so I lordered the dark gray. I'm not too keen on the light peach on the inside, but for the price and since I only use them for outdoor walking exercise, I am choosing to ignore the kind of weird color.

The fit and size are right on. I love these shoes and have them in several different color combinations. They are really comfortable and provide the right amount of support for me.
