These are very comfortable. I take an 11 4X width, and they have good room in the toebox. The GEL Venture-7's in the supposed same size were way to narrow and squeezed my toes. I don't understand how the same manufacturer (ASICS in this case) could have such seemingly poor manufacturing standards? But hey, this is the 21st century where all of society seems to be moving backwards for the sake of advancing technology... a real shame!! I miss the Good Old Days when quality actually meant something. God help us...

Size and fit both fine. As they are training shoes for running, I haven't worn them much yet. Because of their superb fit, however, I'm not worried about comfort. Surprised to find such a bargain in a name-brand running shoe. BONUS ... free shipping and arrived two days earlier than advertised during Christmas shopping season!!

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

These Gel Venture 8 shoes fit great. I tried the Gel Venture 7, but had to send them back, they were terrible. I take a 11-4X wide and although they both were that, the Venture-7s were very tight in the toe box, and also not as wide all over (I didn't even really have enough shoe lace to tie them after spreading them to get them on). The Venture-8s also just feel better all around. Definitely worth the extra cost for those. I would NOT recommend the Venture-7's if you have a wide foot.

It appears medium width on New Balance sneakers are equivalent to 4E on Asics. Otherwise they are very comfortable and fit true to size

TO date the shoe fits all my expectations.

This shoe is just what I needed. I have a neuroma in my foot, and need a wide shoe. This shoe fits perfectly, is comfortable, practical, and stylish. I plan on buying another pair soon.

Shoes are light weight with good cushion , they fit my 4E wide foot well, except for the tongue which is narrow enough to show a bit of sock on each side. Overall a really comfortable shoe.

I have bought ASIC Gel shoes before. I liked the style and color of these. I wear 8.5 normal width and these fit good as expected. Delivery was on schedule. Good competitive price. Good experience.

I have bought ASICS shoes before and like their look and fit. These from Zappos were just what I was looking for. The style is modern with nice colors. The fit is perfect for me (8.5 M). The Zappos process was easy and the price was good.

Fit and Size was perfect for me. I have big feet and this was a great shoe for me. Normally you have break things in on your first wear and your feet hurt a little bit... Not with this purchase. Great comfort and fit.

Fit and size were very good, I like the wide toe box. Not all 15EEEE's fit me properly. This particular model, Gel Venture 8's filled the bill (is there any such thing as age induced wider feet??!?). I was not happy with receiving a $20 off coupon for my next purchase that expired the day after these ones arrived. I did not read the fine print soon enough-I was going to purchase another pair-I did not, Hint, hint)

My husband has been wearing the Venture 6 for years. When it came time to buy new ones, I read the Venture 7 did not meet expectations, so went with the 8. My husband is very happy with the fit, support, and cushion of the Venture 8.

The fit and size is right for me, they are a feel good shoe.

Asics is my go to purchase for both of my sons. Very comfortable and true to size. Reasonable price for the quality of the shoe compared to other brands that are usually overpriced. These hold up better than the Air Jordans I used to buy. Go figure!

Fits & feels glove like. Love them.
