I literally just wore these today, (8/14/22) but they did good on their first test run. The foot-to-ground contact felt comfortable and secure and it seems there is good grip as well. I already have a pair of Asics I use for errands and such. Have had them for over 2 years now and they haven't betrayed me. I expect the same from this pair. Time will tell but as of now, I do recommend these!

Feels great, looks decent, and the glue and stitching seem as if it'll last a really long time. I've had ASICS before and they have, and there's nothing different about these, so I have no reason to believe they won't. The only thing I would like to point out is that the colors are much lighter in person, and the "black" is more of a 2 shade darker "gray." Just keep that in mind. Overall, great shoe.

I loved my Gel-Venture 7’s but since they were no longer available I went for the 8. I bout the same size as the GV7 (size 11) but the GV8 ran small. So I returned and got a size 11.5. They fit great! The GV8 is very comfortable! Highly recommend!

To start I have a pair of Gel-Venture 6's that I love. Those are getting well worn down so I figured I'd buy some 8's. They are fairly similar but seems like they are a little bit skinnier that the 6s. I mean more than just the normal new Shor tightness. But I think with a little stretch they be alright in the end.

Have always been limited to New Balance because I need at least 4E width. This was the first time I tried ASICS - the width was very slightly tighter than NB but it was ok.

I’m a woman who purchases mens shoes. Mens shoes just seem to fit me better and I love the support. These feel nice right out of the box. No break in period required. I wore them for a full day without issue. I plan to use them for walking and hiking. Nice look and very comfortable. Thinking about purchasing another pair in another color.

I am limited on my choices because I need a 15 Wide and the other reviews said that this one was the most comfortable. However, the shoe was tighter in the toe area than I would like, and the sole feels as if I am walking on flats. My previous model was not available in this same size and that one had a better fit and feel.
The main thing I like about it is that the tread is only a couple pieces and it is less likely to come apart in chunks like my other shoes. It has good traction and the colors are nice. I just wish there was a size bigger offered.
