In any other shoe I wear 12-4E but in this shoe I had to buy a 13-4E. If they had a 12.5-4E it would be perfect but that’s not available. However it is roomy and comfortable. The insole is very basic and I replaced it with a Merrel base insole and wow that made it feel awesome. Good shoe for the money. It is my second pair of Ascis after wearing New Balance nearly exclusively for over 10 years.

I have very wide but not very long feet, so I have trouble finding shoes that fit me well. Ironically, these size-10 4x-E wide shoes are *just* a hair tight on my toes, not even a quarter-size worth; ironic because another size-10 pair I bought at the same time are perfect length-wise. I expect, though, that this will go away as the shoes adjust to my feet. The width is perfect.

Great fit. Did not have to break them in at all.

Shoes are great. I bought my first aisics a few years ago and now it's the only tennis shoe I wear.

A little chunky but I can’t complain for the price.

Depending on the style or brand of shoe, I move between a 13 and 14 in sneakers, in most cases. These 13s were on the smaller scale for me and my toe was uncomfortably at the end of the toe box. I also purchased this shoe in different colors in size 14 and that fit much better. I have long but thinner feet and I read that Asics tend to work better for narrower feet. That said, when moving around while elevated on the soles of my feet in these shoes, the bend of the shoe pinches the outside of my foot and little toe, even after loosening the shoe up in the toe box. I noticed this a little when walking, but much more so when shuffling left to right in certain exercises. I compared these to a pair of New Balance shoes, and the Asics have a more neutral feeling of support. Though slightly elevated, toe to heel, they don't feel significant, which is what I was looking for. Somewhere between a cross-trainer and running shoe. However, the mesh upper with this design felt looser around my foot when tightened up, unless I tightened to the point I got that pinch feeling, so these don't work well for me. I love how light and airy they are, as they feel well vented. The downside to this is that morning and afternoon grass will wet socks and interior of the shoes more. The tread pattern is aggressive enough for trails, mild hiking, and training in grass, which is what I was looking for. In the hand these shoes feel really nice and I wanted to keep them longer term, but comfort on the foot is more important, and that pinch is a no-go for me.

Been looking for an affordable all terrain style running type shoe. Found it!!! These are comfortable and true to size. I use it right now for my daily walks. But, if I wanted to run - I don't have to change shoes. The support is there and it's still stiff enough that my feet don't hurt after using them. These are true to size. I used the cm measurement. The only drawback are the shoelaces. They are too skinny. Swapped them out with some flat shoelaces. But, to me this wouldn't be enough to knock a star off. Especially since it is all fixable. If your on the fence, get them. Cheap price-good quality shoes are getting hard to find.

Shoe looks and feels great while walking, running and general working out.

I have an old pair of venture 5 that were much nicer than these. They cheapens the shoe in the following areas. 1) shoestrings are very thin. 2) insole support non-existing compared to the 5’s. 3) weird padding by the toes. 4) seem to be slightly smaller than the 5’s. Overall, not sure I’m keeping them. I would have to replace the insoles if I do.

The description listed these as Extra Wide 4E. The actual shoes said only Extra Wide, NOT 4 E. They are way too NARROW! Older Asics sneakers my husband has say 4E inside and fit well. We even bought another pair of these just to be sure. Same problem. Obviously Asics has changed how they define 4E, which should be wider than extra wide which is 2E. Not good. Had to return them.

The 8's seemed a bit snug, unfortunately a bigger size was not available, refunding pricess was easy.

Bought for my husband he loves these shoes. We actually bought 2 pairs.

I already had a pair that I really like, so I ordered these a half-size bigger and just as wide to give my tow=es more wiggle room. They are just right!

My husband’s feet are extremely wide, so it is hard for him to find shoes that fit well. He wanted a pair for our morning walks/jogs, so I decided to surprise him with these when I saw them available in 4E width. He loves them! He says they fit perfectly & do not squeeze his foot, which rarely is the case. He has worn them for our morning exercise since they arrived, & he is very happy with them.

Didn't need breaking in . Put them on and headed out
