I bought these to replace previous sandals of a similar design I had purchased from another well known brand that I liked the style of but didn't last long. I like the looks and the comfort, but am not keen on the aggressive soles. They're heavier and seem to collect mud and grass. My bad. I should have looked at the soles closer before I ordered.

In Florida we wear sandals a lot. I look for four things, long-lasting, comfort, non-marking on a boat, and stability. So far so good. In fact better than just good. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that the velcro straps stick up a bit on the tag end.

These sandals are very comfortable. Fit is great. I think they will do equally well on trails and city walking.

The sandals took a while to get here, but look and fit great. I will be wearing these while in Mxico and may do a follow-up review when I return. I have one small disappointment and that is that the velcro straps are already curled on the ends and look unsightly.

Bought these as a replacement for other Rockports that were coming apart. They fit well and are comfortable. feet stick to the soles a bit when walking, but otherwise satisfied

EL PRODUCTO PARECE BUENO, COMO TODOS LOS DE LA MARCA QUE HE COMPRADO, PERO ESTAS SANDALIAS ME QUEDARON GRANDES Y DEVOLVERLAS ES MUY FASTIDIOSO Y LENTO EL TRMITE DE REGRESO...

I bought these sandals in black & brown. The overall purchase was great but the fit of the sandals must be for a small foot. I bought the size of my original sandals but these were a different design. The strap to hold the foot in the sandal is too short for my foot but will work for now. I will never buy this style again. This is the first time I've purchased shoes over the internet and may be my last.

It's not as comfy as they should be,arche support hits in wrong spot, not leather line sometimes burning foot, Rockport went for cheaper material and lost quality. But to use as a open slipper to go get mail from mail box, or to use it as a slide on backyard they are great.

I wear a size 14 in gym shoes but the size 14 I ordered was too large; so I ordered a size 13 and it was too large also. Finally I ordered a size 12 and it was a perfect fit. Runs large would be an understatement in my case.

Theses sandals did not fit. I have a high instep and the velcro strap across the instep wasn't long enough.

This is my second pair of Trail Technique Sandals. The new ones don’t feel nearly as comfortable as my first pair. The sole material is much harder on both the foot bed and the outer sole. I’m skeptical about the shock absorption on long walks. There also doesn’t seem to be as much arch support. We will see after a week or so.

Good sandal but soles are stiff. I preferred little softer soles. I returned this sandal

I ordered the black sandals and the brown sandals. While they are supposed to be the same design, the brown sandals have padding on the straps while the black sandals do not have padding. I was disappointed that the black sandals did not have the same design and padding.

Nice sandals but they are a bit too big, I have worn 9.5 wide for years and when I got theses they seemed a little big, I have worn them so I will keep them but not real thrilled about them.

The sandal is very comfortable. The cushion is great and feels great under the foot. The back strap design is horrible. The pointy edge looks ugly. I am not sure why it was designed like that. I bought online. I'd not buy it from in person store, no chance. I have passed these shoes to someone else. Not wearing these.

These sandals are very comfortable and provide good support. I bought them in a store that specializes in shoes for people with foot problems such as plantar fasciitis. The drawback for me is that the straps are secured with Velcro instead of a buckle: within six months of wearing them (daily in summertime) the Velcro was not holding and I have to frequently bend down and press it firmly, hoping that it will stick.

Very comfortable and perfect fit but the footbed has dye that comes off and stains my socks and feet. I am returning them.

The sandals are comfortable on the bottoms and at the toes. The rear of the shoe is designed differently than rock port sandals I bought several years ago. They did not fit me well.

I will have to return my purchase. I was away on vacation when the parcel arrived, so I didn't get to try them on until a few days ago. I am currently wearing a pair of Rockport sandals I received over 25 years ago and am overly pleased with the great service they've been to me. Taking the size from this pair I placed an order for the Rockport-Trail Technique sandal. The size 9 (marked on shoe) is far too large. Attempting to make adjustments with the Velcro straps proved inconsequential to acquiring a comfortable fit. Sorry, but I will have to return this purchase. I'll purchase a different style and see if that alleviates the problem. I still stand by the Rockport Brand for quality and comfort!

Really liked the look and fit, though the footbed was totally uncomfortable and a deal breaker.

The adjustment strap behind the heel of these sandals has velcro on both the left and right sides, so you cannot adjust it (there is no room to tighten the strap. A more traditional fit with a single overlapping strap that had room for more adjustment would allow for better fits. If these fit you, they'll be fine; but if they're not quite right, there's little you can do by tightening or loosening straps.

Not at all what I expected. I only wore them twice and just in the house so I could return them. Seem kind of cheaply made but, to be fair, I will not put them through their paces to see if they hold up. I have very flat feet and am looking for something to give me good ankle support which I've found can happen if the velcro strap across the top is wide and strong. The images Rockport posts led me to believe they'd work, but they really just look like any other sandal - nothing special here. To their credit, Rockport got the product to me quickly.
