I wear them at home like slippers. I was having foot and ankle issues from hiking, running, and long walks. I wear these shoes all day (I work from home). I don't wear them outside but am considering a 2nd pair for that. My only issues with this shoe is 1. I have a high arch & it's uncomfortable to wear socks with these, but 2. When I don't wear socks, my feet smell AWFUL in these shoes. I've never had stinky feet in my whole life throughout the probably hundred pairs of shoes that I've owned and many pairs of slippers that I wore day in and day out. And I've owned a few other pairs of wool slippers but there's something about these particular shoes that make my feet smell terrible. So if you have a high arch, this probably isn't the shoe for you. I'm going to try to find a new insole solution so I can hopefully keep wearing these because I love them so much.

I am on my feet all day teaching high schoolers. I also have a bunion, so I need extra room and comfort. These shoes help with both and look nice so I do not feel like I am an old lady.

In Southern California, the wool upper keeps my feet warm but not too hot in winter. These are my comfortable go to casual shoes when I'm not wearing my other Topos.

Overall the shoe is very comfy. I would recommend making the top of the shoe more forgiving for people with high arches. The top cuts into the top of my foot and becomes uncomfortable after 30 minutes. Perhaps some elastic?

I've been wearing Topos for six years now. I use the Ultraventures for hiking and backpacking (overnighters to months-long thru hikes) and the Phantoms for road running. I bought these after a foot injury, when I needed something with no laces and a wide toe box to wear day-to-day. I use them for work and for walking about 2.5 miles a day. These are very lightweight and extremely comfortable. The only con is that they run a bit small. I ordered these in 11s, which is what I normally wear, and my toes hit the front so I exchanged for the next size up. #sweepstakes

Love, love, love my Topos so I assumed Rekovr would be a perfect fit. Nope. With my high instep I couldn't even get them on. I so wanted to love these shoes.

I got these as slip-on shoes to go outside; they have filled the bill pretty well. They can be tight to slip on, and I feel that I'm stretching them out a bit as they now feel slightly loose on the top of my foot. They won't slip off, but if you have a narrow foot, you might notice them stretching out over time. They're nice and light and are great low-key everyday shoes. I don't think I'd walk miles in them due to potential stretching, but they're great for going around town, etc.

Wore them on a vacation that involved a lot of walking.
Thaey are very comfortable, but the look is a little big.

I have bee having trouble with some toe neuropathy. Since it was the same on both feet, I assume it is because I am a heel walker and am damaging the nerve. After two weeks of wearing the Topo recovery shoe, the symptoms are better. I do love the shoe but because they run a bit small I have to wear this pair without socks.

I struggled to get these on because the instep was too tight. The elastic that is there does not give me the room I need to get my foot in. I realize these will stretch but the break-in would have been agonizing. Love the concept, footbed, design, fabric, style. Just need more room in the instep.

I plan to use these for everyday wear and for recovery. The footbed is comfortable but supportive. The material is soft and forgiving, and I hope it stretches a bit because the shoe seems to run slightly small - both short and narrow. The elastic seems to pull the heel of the shoe toward the toe thus your foot (at least initially since I just received these today) slides toward the toe of the shoe. I'm hoping that time and focus the elastic will relax a bit and my heel will sit where it should inside the shoe. Jury is still out because of this issue.

I really wanted to like these, but they seemed to run a bit small. As my feet are low volume, I knew if I sized up, the Velcro straps would not pull across snuggly.

I wear these for recovery and as an easy slip on for running errands and around the house. I love the wide toe box and the look and feel of the shoes, however, the top is a bit snug right at the lip and I can only wear thin socks or footies with them.

These shoes are very comfortable and easy to slip on. The insole is also comfortable - for my personal preference I would like more of the ridges or a point stimulation. They are a little tight over the top of my foot, but that is getting better as I break them in. My husband also has these shoes and loves them. Great to wear as a "house shoe" as well for support and comfort vs. bare foot or slippers.

FINALLY - the 3rd Size I ordered FITS!!!! Still can't believe that I had to order the SAME size as my Topo Hiking Boots.
FYI - BUT: When I held up my Hiking Insole to this Rekovr 2 Insole:
The Hiking Insole was WIDER in the Toes and LONGER!
I like the SOFT wool and plan to use mostly as a "House Shoe" or Slipper with Support & a Firm Sole.
So.....KEEP ORDERING until you get your Correct Size!!
I hope that ZAPPOS will get the Topo Vibe back in stock this Spring & Summer.
It is ALSO a Slip On "Recovery" Shoe from Topo.
I missed out on ordering last year as "army green" was the ONLY color left.
Next time I will NOT be picky and go for Fit and Comfort!!
I'd also recommend:
Vionic Amber Sandals & Vionic Tide II, Keen Kaci Clogs, Altra, Alegria, SAS Relax

They DO run small. Hope the next 1/2 Size up works for me. In the past: I tried the Earlier Version "Rekovr" with 2 large Elastic bands.
I found them to be TOO large in a Size 9.
My TOPO Hiking boots are a 9/12 but.....Hiking boots are always larger to acommodate socks, extra Big Toe room etc.
The THING that does NOT work with these lovely woolen Topo's is the ANGLED heel area on upper part of shoe:
It rubs on my Narrow HEEL (& Achilles area). In a Size 81/2 - I have NO extra room to add a heel cup.
I REALLY like the stiffer outer sole (GOOD for my Morton's Neuroma).
I wasn't sure IF I would like to wear them "barefoot" as TOPP suggests...but for the few steps I took (in CLEAN feet) the Insole seems NICE!
TRY them.

Love roomy toe box and arch support and material made of . Have wide foot and bunions and gives great support. Only issue is that shoe is tight at top of foot and leaves mark on skin. Wish had a little more stretch at top. Otherwise would have given it a five stars.

These are the recovery shoes. I have to put a heel protector to make the left shoe fit better.

Did a 12 mile hike with these. Nice to have the vibram soles which did a great job gripping. My feet felt a little more stuffed in the toes than the wider road/running topos. And I was surprised how much fine dirt from the trail made it into my shoes and permeated my socks. Wasn't expecting that.

I have 3 pairs of the original Ultraventure, and they are hands-down the best running shoes I have had in 40 years. My first pair has been retired with well over 500 miles on them. The two additional pairs have 200 & 320 miles and still look and feel almost new. I purchased a pair of Ultraventure 2 and am a little disappointed. They have less than 100 miles and the inside of the heel is already starting to rub a hole. Two friends with the same shoe (and also fans of the prior model) are seeing the same thing. Also, the toe on the new model does not have as much protection for the toes as the original, which had little rubber/plastic strips that were just enough to offer a bit more protection when catching toes on rocks or roots. The cushioning is good.

Honestly, I don't wear shoes most of the year because I live in Florida so I spend most of my time in sandals. However, I have problem feet and need a good pair of athletic shoes when we go on vacation and such and would be in need of a good, supportive shoe. My favorite athletic brand up until now starts with a "H" but they've made some changes to their most cushioned styles that don't agree with my feet anymore. I read about TOPO Athletic on a blog for people with "problem" feet. Recently, I have also been diagnosed with arthritis in my big toe so it's important for me to wear shoes with plenty of wiggle-room for my toes. So far, I really like this pair of shoes but I probably haven't had a chance to wear them long enough at this point to make a really informed recommendation.

After multiple foot surgeries and gait problems these are the best athletic shoes I have found and can rarely wear any other shoes- which is why I would love it if they made some more neutral colors to go with more outfits- please make some skin tone varieties and muted earth tones so I can pair these with ALL my outfits and not just running/athletic wear

I love the wide toe box that allows my feet to expand during long trail runs. Overall they feel great. The one problem I'm having is that they seem to expand within a few miles of running - they had loosened so much, I had to tighten them twice during a 14 mile run.

One pair for my indoor workout shoes at the gym, the second pair for outdoor walking. The most comfortable athletic shoes I've owned. Roomy are upfront for toes and good support all over!
