I bought them for dove hunting and they worked out amazingly.

Love my Merrell Cham 8 Stretch Tactical's! Stretch laces and ankle cuff allow me to slip them on and off without bending over. I have several lower back conditions from my time in the Marine Corps infantry, so that matters! Despite not having to lace up, they provide excellent support and secure footing at all times on the rocky mountain terrain in the Magdalena Mountain Range in New Mexico. Excellent traction and comfort, my favorite hiking footwear that I have ever owned. I highly recommend!

This is the best version of the Chameleon Stretch since the original first generation was offered. I bought 4 pairs and wear them for everything.

It doesn't feel as tight up around the upper ankles as a hiking boot should. I suppose they would if I tied it tighter every time, but it is nice to be able to slip them on and off if I wear them daily.

The best fitting Chameleon I've ever worn! So good that I bought a second pair.

Owned Chameleons for the last 4 years and will continue to own them in the foreseeable future especially is they are built like the Chameleon Tactical..

I have owned several pair of Chamaeleons and have always liked them for ease of putting them on and off. The new model is no different. Very comfortable and good for everything from just kicking around to long walks. As long as Merrell keeps making them, I will keep buying them!

Great shoes, comfortable right out of the box. Wear them for daily four mile dog walk for the last four months. Show no signs of wear. Highly recommend.

I bought these to replace an old pair of crocs; they were a little strange at first but I've grown to really like them! Most importantly, they'll work A LOT better in slush and snow than my crocs did!

Last pair of Chameleon's I bought years ago was the Chameleon 8, and they are still wearable. Only concern with that pair was the poor breathability and weight. I decided to give the Chameleon's another chance and I'm glad I did. After wearing them and breaking into them I realized that there is much more breathability and considerable weight drop in the shoe. 10/10 would recommend for anybody who enjoys long walks, and hiking!

No seriously I'm wearing clouds on my feet. Unfortunately the reason my feet have died is because they were killed by the shoes I purchased a month and a half ago. I will not mention the brand by name but I will tell you that they are THOROughly BAD. I have had many good purchases from this company over the years but the latest were terrible. They were extremely tight, heavy and uncomfortably hot. With that said, these Cham 8 Stretch Tactical shoes from Merrell are the most comfortable service shoes I have ever worn. They are light, they breath and the fit is amazing. If your still on the fence about purchasing a pair or two of these excellent shoesDO IT! I promise you won't regret it.

One is not enough, go for two pairs Like myself One of the best decisions this month

Just received them, a little tough to get on if you have a high instep and the clip to tighten is a little tricky. once these are on they fit like a glove. Wore them all day into late night and had no problems, can't wait for them to break in they'll be even better. I chose the green and glad I did..

I've been wearing these for a week on patrol. I'm a Sheriff's Deputy in rural South Texas. The breathability is amazing, I've worn these while directing traffic on a 90 day and had dry feet after 3 hours. The Waterproof on these are good to.

By far the most comfortable shoes I own wear them all the time

1st pair of merrell shoes. Just got them today Wearing around the house right now seem comfortable not sure about slipping them on having no Tong is different or having no laces to tie. I'll ll test them out at work tomorrow

Very comfortable and snug on your feet. Not the easiest to get on, but with a shoe horn they slip right on.

I bought the shoes for daily use since I mostly wear cargo pants and I thought they'd be a great match. They're a bit heavier than they look like, but else I'm happy with my pair.

It's a great shoe, firstly. It is however extremely difficult to put on. I also needed to stretch the shoes' width to get it right for me. Bottom line: it was kind of a pain in the butt at first, but after getting them right I'm super happy I didn't return them. Very comfortable and durable so far.

Good shoe, comfortable. But is too hard to put on. I've had others like this and were no problem. I'm hoping the top will stretch to make putting on easier.

Very stiff especially in the rear but also the entire sole

I have foot pain. These have been great. My only criticism would be the soles on the different colors feel different. Black is best for me. Of course that is the color you are out of. I bought my first pair from a brick and mortar store. Liked them so I bought 2 more pairs. Usually when I like something it is soon discontinued.

Yet another comfortable and versatile chameleon stretch shoe. This one proved to be a decent hiking shoe, certain breaking in was still required though. One flow, though, that got the fifth start removed was the liner on the inside of the hill, that fabric didn't last long and ripped already, it doesn't affect much so never mind that.
