Comfortable shoes, however, very noisy! I'm not sure if its the gel insoles that are causing the noise, but they are very loud.

These are very cute shoes, and very comfortable. However, after wearing them for a little while, they really started to squeak! I work in a library, so it's important to be quiet while walking around. They just seemed to be a bit distracting!

As I get older, good shoes are more and more important. With happy feet, I can walk and stay healthy.

The squeaking was annoying. Tried the dryer sheet trick under the insole. Worked like a charm! Love these shoes. They are sooo comfortable. Have worn them every day since they arrived.

I purchased this shoe in the black and liked it so much that within a day I purchased another pair in blue. This is a comfortable shoe for city walking, and the style is cute. The blue is gorgeous --sort of a teal blue with some green in it. There was squeakiness initially, but both of my pairs of the Jambu Pine stopped squeaking after I had walked about 3,000 steps (~ 1.5 miles). The squeakiness does come from the insoles, but although my orthotic insoles fit fine as a replacement, I like these somewhat squishy insoles so much that I decided to keep them in. I adore these shoes.

Gave them a 4star review for comfort as the straps are a little stiff/scratchy around the ankles. I'm hoping they will be more comfortable after they are broken in.

Fit and size perfect! Comfort is extraordinary. Love them!

The minute I took a few steps in these shoes, I fell in love with the way they feel. The amount of cushion and support is surprising in something that really resembles a closed-toe sandal. A few reviewers have mentioned the noise, but in the three days I've worn them, there was no noticeable noise. Unless you count my saying, "Ahhhh......" because they felt so good on my feet.

I love these shoes. I tried another Jambu style that looked fairly similar before buying them, and just couldn't get the proper size--7 too big; 6.5 too small. These are perfect, with or without socks

The shoe fit perfectly. They do have a high back, so there was a rub when worn without socks. I recommend a light sock or bandaid on the heel until broken in. Arch support is minor so if you need really good arch support this may not be the shoe for you. I am going to try adding an arch pad to help.

I love my Jambu's! This is my first purchase of this brand, and I will be back for more. It is rare for me to find shoes that fit my narrow feet AND look good too. I removed the insole and replaced it with my own orthotics, so the fit is perfect; they would be a little loose with their original insoles. I've been a Naot fan for years, but lately their cork footbed in their Elegant collection of sandals is hard and stiff, and I'm returning more than I'm keeping. I used to be able to wear them right out of the box, but now they don't soften up much at all.

Very comfortable & cute!

I like these shoes. They have a nice, THICK footbed and they feel almost as supportive as my plantar fasciitis orthopedics. But they squeak when I walk. It sounds like I’m smuggling small furry animals. They almost “speak.” The right shoe emits an adamant “no!” and the left shoe an inquisitive “yes?” It isn’t noticeable in louder environments, but in the silence of my own house it is two laughing squirrels mocking my chronic, torturous state of indecision.

I read the other reviews about this being a squeaky shoe. Who would have thought - no kidding - they are noisy! Made me laugh cause never experienced a noisy shoe. However, problem solved - it was the foamy insert! I replaced with my support shoe liner and no squeak. So I am keeping because the shoes are cute, fit is right, and they are sturdy and provides overall good support. So purchase and replace foamy support line!

This brand is my mother’s fave. This style held up to her expectations! She’s 81 and partially blind, so we love the Velcro and ability to give her a perfect fit. Great for long walks and they even look great with socks.

I love the fit and comfort of these shoes but I ended up returning them because I felt the color was misrepresented. It says navy and the picture looks navy but my shoes looked more green than navy. I was disappointed.

These shoes fit really well, the only issue is that they squeak a bit much. I mean when I walk I sound like I have rubber boots on. Hope the sound goes away as I wear them more.

So close! I love the look of these shoes and the fit was perfect! I have had several pairs of JBU/Jambu and love the brand. These are comfy with good support. But...they squeak. It might be better (quieter) if I removed the insoles, but that is part of what makes them so comfy. I'm not sure I want to purchase them and then try to modify them to make them work. They would be perfect without the noise.

I am returning these, for two reasons. The dark blue-green color does not look good to me. The insole is very thick, this makes the shoe slightly tight and it is just a weird feeling insole, plus it squeaks! I tried insoles from my Merrill Moab ventilator hiking boots which then made these Jambu sandals too loose in the heel, although a better feel to them under my arch. Bottom line is I would have to buy just the right insole to make these sandals work for me. Just not worth it. They are also a little flimsy in the upper for a $100 sandal

Way too big for my foot. The size is right as far as length but my foot is skinny and doesn't have enough volume to fill this shoe. There is a big gap between the bridge of my foot and the top of the shoe. These are made for fatter feet.

The fit was fine and they were cute -- perfect with jeans and doable with a casual skirt. I found them oddly heavy, though, like I was too aware they were on my foot, like I would be aware of a boot. I feel like I am being whiny, but I am returning them.

These shoes are abnormally squeaky. They fit fine, and look cute, but the velcro is not finished correctly and is abrasive on my foot. Very disappointing.
