I bought my first pair of the 990 series in July and was amazed at how my feet and legs do not hurt anymore at the end of the day. I usually only get six months out of a pair of trainers but I think these are going to last longer. The first pair still isn't showing any sign of wear on the soles. This is my second pair so I can rotate them.

Call it fit or comfort, US-990-v5 got it. I wear a size 13 shoe in a narrow width, and A or B width shoes are very hard to find, especially sport shoes. NB makes these shoes in "narrow" and sized up to 13. Perfect fit and I have been buying at least one pair a year the last 10 years, and maybe longer ago than that. Simply put, nothing's better than NB for sport shoes.

I wear them after a long day of wearing work boots. They are light and fit as advertised/ordered. I only wish there were more options for made in the USA products

After years of having issues with calf pulls and strains the NB 990 was recommended by a sports podiatrist and it's been the only shoe I use for the last decade plus.

Absolutely everything is great about this shoe. Definitely an outstanding shoe.

Has always been the BEST tennis shoe for support and cushion. Well made and one of the few with widths. Used to be my run training shoe. Now have one pair for every day, one for pickleball and tennis, one for yard work. Now my wife loves her first pair. We are both in our 70's.

My wife purchases this very shoe every few years, when the old pair wears out. She walks a few miles, and has always been happy with this particular brand and model.

I needed Size 13 Double A flexible sided walking shoe. Double A is hard to find. This is 2nd time I have bought this style so am obviously pleased with it.

Great for long runs! Plus, black on black color is nice looking with jeans, especially when traveling and you don't want to bring another pair of shoes on the trip.

Cool shoes. Not very light but super comfortable and stylish.

The premium price is warranted. Good support for a heavy person. I suspect for a less heavy person durability is longer lived. Doesnt feet like the support methods used are too stiff or rigid. Classic looks imply quality and does the color and finishes. I am writing this review and as I read it it sounds like something a construction manager would write . "I am who I am- said Sam"

I have 6e super wide feet so the only good looking shoe is New Balance. I wear my New Balance shoes to do about everything. If they made a boot I wear it in the field. If they made penny loafers I would wear them to work. New Balance has really stepped up their game with a lot of great new styles. But I noticed only a few now come in 6e. Come on New Balance do not forget about us! You make our only cool shoe!

These are the only shoes of almost any kind that fit me, a size 12 AA. I use them to walk and knock about in. The only problem is they are cut just a little too high for my flat feet, thus impacting my ankle bone somewhat. Otherwise, very comfortable and I love them.

Perfect fit for my narrow foot. Comfortable and I wear them for every day use and long walks. I love these shoes!

My husband said these are very comfortable shoes to walk. It has perfect width.

Fantastic quality and craftsmanship. My only gripe is there is platic on the exterior of the shoe near the ankle part, the V4 did not have this. It still looks like a nice upgrade for V4 of the shoe.

I walk in them as well as run. I like the arch support.

I was looking at these for awhile. Started running for exercise and wanted something made in the US. Super comfortable and supportive. Will purchase again.

I have worn NB almost exclusively for close to 25 years and always know they will fit well. My recent purchase of 990v5 is no exception. They look good and fit like all NB shoes have. Highly recommend.

I buy new shoes about every 6 months as I am rough on them - I continue to buy this pair as they are very comfortable and help me to walk properly. They are very sturdy shoes.

My son loves this shoe and it is now the only thing he wears. After two years, we replaced them and he insisted on the exact same shoe.

Grandson loves the appearance of the shoe. Finds the material to be strong and sturdy.
