I have just bought my third pair of 990 NB sneakers. I still have the old ones for dirty yard work. Very comfortable, durable, and look great. USA-made is fantastic, worth the money.

Love how comfortable and light this sneaker feels. I bought them because they are made in America and no slave labor was used like with some other companies. As long as NB doesn't do anything stupid like donate money to terrorist organizations running around now under false premises, I'm a customer for life.

Since Covid-19, I have been walking 5-8 miles per day. I have gone through three pairs of sneakers. I researched online, and found great reviews of the 990v5. So far so good with two weeks done.

These shoes are wide enough for my wide feet. I used to roll my ankle all the time but these shoes have such a stable base I never roll my ankle anymore. Durable long wearing great shoe.

I have worn these shoes for over 15 years. They are excellen, both for walking and running. I am 74 years old. I appreciate the padding and support of these shoes.

A perfect blend of comfort and support in a classic design.

My foot measures 14AAA. New Balance is the only company that make a 14AA, and only sporatically. When they have them, I always snap up a pair. The quality is impeccable and the fit terrific. My only complaint is there no provision to secure the tongue with the laces. I love the fact this style is made in America

It my primary walking shoe, worn every day. Fits well and feels good when walking.

The 990v5 make my feet want to walk every. I walk 5 miles per day 365 days a year.

I have been wearing 990's for years. I buy a new pair about every 6 months. I do however replace the shoe laces with 48" laces, that way I don't have to deal with the extra 10 inches or so, of lace.(That is a pain) Two sales people at Nordstrom's could not explain the extra long laces.. I'm sure it has to do with the way you lace up the shoe, but it still looks too long. Aside from that minor problem, thank you for a quality product, that I will continue to purchase. Fantastic!!! Very comfortable. This is my second purchase of the same shoes.

They work great! I'm a person who supinates, especially near the front of my feet, basically what that means is that typically the point with the most pressure during a stride is the upper right/left {depending on which foot} quadrant of my foot. Because of this EVERY shoe I have owned so far has worn down to a gapping hole in that part of my shoe. So far these seem to be the exception. Using NB's language I needed a "Neutral Cushioning" shoe and I wanted to see what happened if I actually put my money where my mouth is, or "feet" in this case ;). I've had them for a bit now, the exterior, outside facing soul seems really durable, no visible wear yet. The shoe is very conformable, I am a wide shoe in every brand but the wide option on these seems a bit wider than others, so it fits a little too loose in side-to-side direction. The length is spot on though and overall they fit very well. The support {which for me this is key} seems to be the best of any shoe I have ever bought. I can wear these for very long walks with my dog on various terrains and they still feel great.

Made in the USA. Willing to pay more for American items. Been running for 3 weeks now. Feet are fine. Sneakers holding up well.

My husband will only wear this brand of shoes . He spent three years finding them. For comfort he does not mind paying extra . He suffers from pain when he walks and an MD sent him to New Balance !

The 990v5 is both comfortable and stylish. I was thinking the white "N" was not as appealing as the black "N" version (which was out of stock in my narrow size) but that's not the case.

Good for the feet. Well built. Long lasting and good looking.

My husband has been wearing New Balance for years . First time for this style and he really likes them.

Use it with other New Balance products every day and it is stable and tough.

Love them work great with my custom insoles have bought many pairs.
