I ordered these in wide. I am not even a full wide only a C width and these didn't feel wide at all and a little stiff.

This shoe has excellent arch and metatarsal support and is made with very nice leather----and comes in great colors. The fit did not work for me as the tongue dug into the top of my foot and left dents during the little time I walked in them in my home.

I like the style of this sneaker and was hoping to wear them for an upcoming trip to Europe. Unfortunately the comfort I was expecting was not there. There is little to no padding in the toe area and they have is a side seem that I know will rub on my pinky toe. They are also a little on the heavy side and just not comfortable. I would consider keeping them but certainly not for the price I paid.

Loved the style, arch and metatarsal support, leather and color, BUT the tongue dug into the top of my foot - very uncomfortable and left indented marks. So disappointed! I love that Taos offers the arch and metatarsal support which are in other styles of theirs that I wear. Noting that other reviews state the problem I had and the numerous reviews that state heal slippage, this model must have been ill designed.

I sized up due to customer reviews and purchased a 9 instead of a 8 1/2. It was too long. I also ordered an 8 1/2 and it was too short. I think the 8 1/2 might have felt short due to the narrow toe box. The heel slips in both sizes and I had hoped for more cushioning in the foot bed. The shoe is cute and has soft leather but it just doesn't work for me.

Back was very low and it felt like my heel wasn't all the way in the shoe. Arch support was almost a little too much.

These are very cute shoes. The length and width are fine. The problem is that the back of the shoe slips and rubs, creating a nasty blister. I think the problem is that the heel of the cushioned insole is too high for the shoe. I've removed the cushioned insole, and I'll see if this helps the slipping and rubbing situation. But removing the insole, of course, will reduce the comfort of the footbed.

I didn’t think these were as comfortable as I thought they should be. They are very cute but the tongue cut into the top of my foot. Sadly I am returning.

I loved the arch support, but when walking it bent at my toes and squeeked with every movement. I tried walking around the house and my socks kept shifting.

The length and width were true to size, but the heel (Achilles) didn’t come up high enough and my foot didn’t sit down in the shoe properly. Really disappointed because it is a pretty shoe. Must return as I do not think it will load enough to prevent slipping.

I am between 7.5 and 8, ordered 8 in these sneakers. I have never had any issues with one foot being longer than the other. But with this pair my left foot toe was hitting the front of the shoe to the point of making it unwearable while the right foot was just fine. They also feel a bit heavy for the purpose, probably due to the type of rubber used for the sole. need to send them back and will not reorder in different size.

I agree with a lot of other reviews. I really wanted to make these work, but the heel was too low. I also had an issue with the tongue rubbing. Perhaps that would go away once the shoes are worn in. I did love the look of them though.

Lovely color but sadly these are too narrow for me.

These fit and sizing are fine. I was hoping to get something similar to the Taos Star, but a little classier looking. I went with white, hoping for a cute spring/summer shoe that could go with everything. These are bigger and clunkier than the Star. I felt like my size 10 feet looked like two huge boats. There's nothing really wrong with them, but it wasn't the look I was going for.

The arch support feels hard, stiff, and I am not comfortable. For this price, I NEED TO LOVE THEM.

Ordered my normal size, 8M, overall fit was good. Toe box was roomy, length was good. The problem is the insert is about 1" thick at the heel causing the back to fit very low on my foot. No amount of tightening the laces kept the heel from sliding basically off when you walk. I tried a different insert but the heel still slide off. Otherwise we'll made. Had to return

The arch on the insole is much too high for me, and I do have a high arch. It provided plenty of padding in the heal, but not in the ball of the foot where I needed it. I tried them on with other insoles, but there's not enough cushioning in the sole of the shoe for this to work. Too bad. Taos sandals are my go to, but these sneakers are just not supportive enough for me. They are cute! I had ordered the white leather and the black canvas in Plim Soul.

I really love this shoe, but I ordered the green and it is not green at all. It is a distressed gray. I asked several people and they all said they are gray. I have a lot to wear gray shoes with, sp I'm keeping them, but I really wanted an army green color. The three stars is because the color is nothing like I expected.

This fit isn't for me. Way too snug with insert, but too large when I removed the insert. There's no way I could wear these shoes for an entire day. Very uncomfortable due to bad sizing. I always where a 6.5 medium width.

Unfortunately these shoes did not have a good soft foot base for me. I have bad feet and needed much more cushioning. Size and style were great. I returned them.

The shoe is very stylish, appears well-made, and offers comfortable arch support. Though I ordered the shoe in my normal size, the toe box was not big enough and placed pressure on the nail of my toe. Sadly, I must return these shoes.

As much as I like the looks of this shoe, it just didn't work for me, as well as two other shoes I ordered. My problem is heel slippage. It not the fault of the shoe, it's my crazy foot. Unfortunately, I have to return due to keeping them would cause regret in the future. Thank you Zappos, for understanding, everyone's foot is different as well as shoes are different. I finally broke down and found a shoe at Dillards today, that felt like heaven on my feet. A pair of Josef Seibel shoes very similar to this style and fits my foot great.

Size, look and cushion all were fine except the toe box was too narrow and pinched large toe painfully. Sadly had to return.

These are cute and super comfortable when standing still, but like other reviewers I found the height of the back of the shoe too low and it just comes off my heel with every step when walking. Sure, it's not too low if you take our the awesome insole for arch support, but if you do that then you're missing the comfort of Taos shoes. Ultimately I had to return these. I'm planning to get the high-top version in hopes that they will stay put.
