I would marry this shoe if it were legal. Amanda Vans...how does that sound? This shoe has a more comfortable, responsive fit than the base model. Internal tongue straps keep the tongue in place without constricting your feet -- you can't even feel them. And when you want a more relaxed fit, simply remove the POPCUSH footbeds. The checkerboard flag on the side adds a nice visual touch. Why are you sitting there? Buy this shoe already!

Seriously VANS design team, make butter leather for every style and color. Most comfy pair I've ever owned.

I'm 34 years old, I've been wearing vans since I was 13 years old. I own a welding shop and I'm on my feet ALL DAY. I can wear these for 10 hours with no issues. By far the most comfortable shoe vans has ever made. Being a welder I have yet to burn through them.

My son loves thes and wears them every day. I would buy them again. Thank you for such good products.

I purchased the Lucid Skate Old Skool (Black/Gray/Atlantis) colorway. Really liked the way they looked when I first received them. Like the nice neutral color of the uppers while having little pops here and there with the orange. Also like the pattern of the bottom sole (black and yellow). Gives the shoe a unique look imo in a subtle way. Bought the shoe on sale. I also like the popcush insoles to help provide comfort and prevent fatigue. Liked the shoe enough that I just ordered a second pair when another sale popped up just to have another pair ready once I wear out the first. This is from a casual wearer's perspective and not from a skater so I cannot speak on skate performance. When comparing to the original Old Skool, these Skate shoes have more cushion that the original Old Skools. Not sure how that really translates to board feel. Might remove some board feel with a thicker cushion perhaps but I don't know for certain. But having that extra cushion definitely helps on those days where you do a lot of walking. They also feel a little more snug but that could because my regular Old Skools are more broken in. You do also have a slightly higher side wall as well. Overall, I recommend these shoes if you're looking for a shoe that provides comfort and with a little bit of color.

Got my wife a pair of the all canvas black makers slip on years ago & she loved them,& these slip ons right here are definitely an upgrade & she loves them!

These shoes are the most awesome! Love the Port Royal color way,it's my favorite color Vans puts out,I have the ol'skool pros in the same color way,but these slip ons are so choice!

This was my first pair of not only Old Skool but the Skates as well so I decided to do some research into the fit and sizing because of the Popcush insole. In my pairs of Sk8-High and slip ons I'm a size 5. Most of the reviews recommended going up a half size, so that's what I decided to do. They fit great, are super comfy and only took a few days to break in

absolutely love these skate highs! I normally wear classics in a size 7, so I ordered these in an m7. they're a bit snug but feel super comfy! For size comparison I wear a m6.5 in high top Cons.

My son picked these out. Has not worn them so difficult to rate but they appear very nice, sturdy shoes.

I love Vans, the color of this one is not as pictured, it is more of a cream color not as off-white as shown, nevertheless a nice pair, i love it, great with jeans or shorts, Vans rarely disappoints this one almost did, because of the color but just take it for what they are and not the picture in the website
