I've had countless pairs of sk8-hi over the years and when they started the BMX version, I bought almost every release. The redesign has ruined this shoe for me, starting with the "Skate" model that replaced the "Pro", and now with the "BMX". The new stiffener (Duracap?) in the front hits the widest part of my foot in all the wrong places and instantly creates hotspots/pressure points. These went from my most comfortable pair of shoes right out the box, to shoes that I don't even want to wear. I'm all for added durability and the spirit of the redesign was a move in the right direction, but the execution doesn't work for me. I wont buy again until this is fixed.

Don't waste your money on these trash shoes

I have been wearing vans all my life, I think your product is not as stout as they use to be and more money. I bought a pair about 6 months ago and the soul has 70% failed. The glue has separated that holds the soul on.

this has to be the most uncomfortable toe box ive ever experienced. its super painful on the big toe knuckle. unable to wear. very disappointed.
