I tried these on and they were very comfortable everywhere but the toebox. I normally wear the Sk8-Hi in wide, and was hoping these would magically be wide enough, but they were not. Please make these in wide!!! I would buy them every time.

They have a green tint to them. wish they didn't tho. But Other than that I like them!

The shoe is great, comfortable. The color shown is NOT the color the shoe is which is incredibly disappointing. It's more olive drab and gum.

They're one of my everyday shoes. Comfy after a bit of a break in. Heads up on the color, these are dark green, not grey.

I ride freestyle BMX; primarily street and skateparks. I live close enough to all of my BMX destinations that I always ride to the spot I plan on riding and a fair bit of commuting as well. These shoes are TOUGH, and I mean, they will last long enough to save up for the next pair for sure. The pink style I just purchased had a VIBRANT waffle pattern sole that always catches complements. Inside, the special sports-specific insole provides a decent amount of cushioning. If you are harder than normal on your shoes because of brakeless BMX riding or full-time wear, expect corners or edges of the shoe to peel up.

Always wanted Vans Hi, these are awesome except the stitch on the inside of the shoe, on the outer side of the foot. It's raised to much and digs on the side of my foot. The stitching is annoying to the fact that I had to put duct tape to smooth it out. That did the trick. outer then that these are good for my wide foot.

This design is a winner! Everything from the material to the fitment is on point. I've had them for over a year now and they're still going strong. I don't BMX but I used them for MTB riding, casual daily wear and even on short hikes and they're comfortable and durable! My only gripe is they don't come in more color ways, I'd love a pair in the classic blk/wht. The suede is standard but the duracap is holding up very well, none of that peeling or cracking around the outside rubber the classics tend to do after a while. The canvas has this rubberized coating that is really nice kind water proof and easy to wipe clean. The insoles are legit, I'm believer in PopCush it's made for hard impact while providing maximum comfort and decent arch support not like the flatness of the core classic and they're removable which is nice for cleaning. Break in period was quick and my feet are a bit on the wider side and they fit nice after broken in. Highly recommend a pair of these!

Been wearing Vans for years. I love this Bmx line. I bought the black/white/grey and checkerboard Sk8-hi. Would've given 5 stars, but both shoes came with shorter than normal laces. It can be hard to get enough slack to properly tie the laces. Not sure if this is a quality control issue or whatnot, but I noticed other reviews about laces being too short. To the beautiful people working at Vans, please do whatever to help rectify this issue! Much love from New York!

I have 2 pair of Old Schools same size but these are about 1/2 size larger. I wished I'd exchanged them.

Shoe is great, but the dark gray and gum is not the same picture in person as it is on the actual shoe. The gum bottom is more of a gray color and the dark gray isn't very dark.

Please do another size run of this shoe.

I'm loving these Vans! I wanted a high top style that was a little different, and really liked the pink-blue gradient and color soles. The interior is comfy and nicely cushioned. I love wearing these and get compliments on them all the time. My only complaint is that the black uppers are overdyed, and transfer dye EVERYWHERE. The white laces were instantly darkened the first time I laced them, and are only getting worse every time I take my shoes off or put them on. The white edges of the shoes are quickly becoming darker from dye transfer, it looks like I've worn them a really long time, bit it's only been a few days, and I'm not exactly active. I'll try cleaning them soon and finding some sort of protectant.

I've bought 20 plus pairs of sk8 hi's and 9.5's always fit me. For some reason, this pair was significantly more narrow to the point they can't be worn. I even tried breaking them in over a one week period, stretching them, and still too narrow. Vans needs to do a reissue of the Scotty Cranmer's.

The shoes I ordered have a grey stripe w/grey stitching and lighter gum outsoles. The ones I received have white stripe w/black stitching, darker outsoles.

I got these in the mail today and was super excited to see them, but, I opened the box and there was a giraffe! I wish there were more pictures to show the inside side stripe. I will still purchase from Vans, but I was disappointed to see a giraffe and not a python.

The other reviews are absolutely right about the shape near the toes. This is the second BMX pair that's had the same issue. It becomes narrow at the worst point and the seam rubs. I had to force myself to wear them for three solid weeks and tie them loose and still only had them somewhat stretched out in those spots
