Great summer hat for coverage of head, face, and neck. Nice and lightweight and adjustable to head size.

My 6 yr old and 4 yr old wear these hats literally every day. We live up in the Andes Mountains, and at 11,000 ft the sun is very intense. These hats cover faces & necks so my kids can play outside all day long & be protected from the sun. After only a few uses my son's chin strap broke, but its an easy fix. Other than that, these have held up very well. I'm back to buy two more!

I was having so much trouble finding a good sunhat in stores. I am SO glad I ordered these for my girls! The coverage is perfect, the two adjustable straps make for a perfect fit and the sizes are forgiving, (the youth and child sizes can fit my two and four year-olds pretty much interchangably, my kids are a little big-headed though) the top is light and airy and the brim is stiffer to keep it from folding backward during breezy weather like other hats. Its also way cuter than I expected. I bought primrose, the color is pretty acurate on here, its a nice pinkish/lavender. This is just what I was looking for.

we use it everyday when we outside. My baby likes it and it protects from the sunshine very well.

We bought the Kids' Play Hats before a week long trip to the Jersey shore. At home in SoCA, my daughters (4 & 2) kept getting sunburns on their faces, but don't like to wear hats. The hats are FABULOUS. The straps are comfortable and keep the hats from blowing off. Both girls love the pink/purple colors. They wore them, kept them on, and after spending day in and day out at the beach, did NOT get sunburned on their faces or necks. What more can you ask for? We got a lot of comments on how cute the hats are, too. They continue to wear them happily at home. So happy with this purchase!!!

I purchased 2 hats for my granddaughter last year, both were the Kids' Play Hat style with the wide brim and flap. I bought this hat for myself after borrowing my nephews Fun Bucket Hat for a 4 day music festival in the hot desert. I loved the hat so much I came back from the trip and bought one for myself. My head size is small enough that I can wear either the Child or Youth size. The Youth size has a more appropriate chin strap for adults (toggle vs velcro) and is also longer in the back and has a wider brim. As an adult, I much prefer the Youth size. I stayed cool in the hot sun by soaking the hat in water every hour and wearing it dry. Excellent for cramming into a backpack as well. Stays true to shape even when wet or after being crushed. I also love the low price. If you are an adult with a small head & face, try the Child and/or Youth sizes. The brims are less wide than adult sizes and will not dwarf your face.

We love these hats! The brim gives great coverage/protection.

My 17 mo daughter loves hats and is very fair skinned. This protects her well and the chin strap keeps it on. It is a little big and slides over her forehead a bit, but she'll grow into it. Just gets in the way of cute pictures.

Gives the best sun protection, has the strap enables us to enjoy it when it's windy at the beach. It's beautiful and both my 7 year old girl and my 2 year old boy love wearing it. They wear only this hat for all their sun activities, even in the pool.

I love this product and have it for both my little toe headed boys! I just wish they would stop loosing them!! I love it so much that every time they loose it at the river or beach, i have to buy them a new one!

Bought one for my 5 year old, 3 year old, infant and now I am buying one for my niece :o) This is the best sun hat you can buy. It actually STAYS PUT with all the running around and activities kids do. My kids wore them ALL summer and they never complained once about wearing it because it is so comfy. I have actually been stopped by a number of moms to ask me where I bought my kids hats.

We live high elevation area; a hat and sunscreen are necessity of our life now. My son loves and is proud to wear this hat. Whenever he wears it, people ask about it. It is an excellent hat that he cannot wait to wear it in the Spring/Summer.

We use this hat for both of our boys. The child size even fits our 1 year old since it is adjustable! The brim size is large enough to keep out the sun, while still letting them see. I always get compliments and other parents asking where I got the hat. Since we live in Canada, the shipping is more expensive than the hat, but it is worth every penny!!

Great hats. My kids love them and wear them enthusiastically every day. I like the wide brim and neck veil for improved sun protection. They wear well, and stay in good condition (my kids are very active and kind of tough on hats). Everyone who sees them comments favorably. We will definitely keep buying these.

I purchased two of these hats for my kids and I must say they are the best hats that I could find on the market. Great coverage, super lightweight and comfortable. My daughter who usually does not like to wear a hat loves it....Absolutely fantastic hats, and amazingly fast delivery. Thank you for making such a great product.

This hat really tops the chart. Having young children makes it all the more important to protect skin for a life-time. This Play Hat provides excellent coverage in a light-seeming, stylish hat. It feels light on the head and has a nice shape. Not too large and bulky-- not hot in the summer months-- just all around perfect. The search is over! We love the pretty pink for girly-girls. The solid colors are nice, as well. Clean like a charm.

I found this website while searching the internet for a hat that would give good sun protection, and fell in love with these hats! I have one for each of my 7 children and they love them! You can't find anything like this in Australia, which is odd given the harshness of our summers and the high incidence of skin cancer here. I tell everyone about this site - Best. Hat. Ever.

These hats are great sun protection but I love them because they hold their shape when wet. When we started using this brand they no longer tried to take off their hats because they couldn't see.

Great for bike riding and hiking. Washes well. I have 3 white tops and decided to try the pink. Very pleased with the color.

I bought these hats a couple of years ago for my boys (camo) and they are great! These have held up really well with repeated use and they really do protect them. I'm now buying the next size up for both of them!!

Both of my boys have this hat, and they love them. In fact, they've loved them a little too much, and we're going to end up replacing them soon. We live on a sailboat, and comfort is critical, because they wear them all the time, and life's too short to argue with a kid about wearing their hat all the time. But with this hat? No argument. Hurrah!

I bought a lavender play hat for my granddaughter and a tan play hat for my grandson. They just love them and feel so grown-up that their hats are the same as their grown-ups. It's so fun that the whole family has matching hats.

I bought this hat for my daughter (a very fair-skinned redhead) last summer and we both LOVE it! She wore it all last summer and is happily wearing it again this year. I love how lightweight the hat is as her head sweats terribly in heat/humidity. I love the bright purple color (I have a matching hat as well!) and the mesh vents. The chin strap (we have the child size) works great for her, too. I guess the best thing I can say about this hat is that my daughter ASKS to wear it...I'd say that says it all!
