Great looking golf shoe. Very stylish, and very comfortable. Feels like there's more cushioning than in other golf shoes I've purchased. I have not worn the shoes during a round of golf, as we're just getting out of the winter here in the midwest and the weather is just starting to get better; but I am looking forward to trying these shoes out. I had been searching for shoes that are comfortable to wear while walking the golf course; these appear that they will fit that requirement. I'm considering ordering this shoe in a different color, as I'm that pleased with my purchase.

I won't be using those shoes much before the first week in May as there is still snow on the ground.

Overall I really liked the shoes, but they just weren't as appealing when I received and saw them in person. The cork insole is a great touch though.

I bought these to use as golf shoes, they are comfortable offer good support and appear to have adequate traction, the color is a bit drab but otherwise a good shoe

I picked up the Stratos on sale. A really nice discount. Good looking shoe, actually better looking in person than in the pictures. I was really excited to try them on and play a round of golf in the Stratos. Once I put them on and took a few steps I realized why they were so deeply discounted. My heals slip in the back of the Stratos. Up and down while walking. I was planning on walking the course that day but I couldn't due to the slippage in the heal. I tried everything to tighten the Stratos so that my heal didn't slip but to no avail. The Stratos were serviceable to play in but had to rent a cart for the round. Because the Stratos only slipped in the heal my swing was not effected and ended up having a nice day. Morale of the story, if you buy something online and it doesn't work out make the best of it.

Like the looks but the heal is so wide could place two fingers inside at heal of foot. I think perhaps that they modeled the foot off of a hillmen who spent their life never wearing a shoe..

I thought it was just me because after trying four sizes, the heel was still slipping even though it seemed to fit well in the rest of the shoe. Must be a design flaw, as others have noted, but the slippage is significant. It's a shame because otherwise a comfortable, great looking shoe.

TRUE TO FIT. I DIDN'T LIKE THE HEEL IT HAS A TENDENCY TO SLIP WHILE WALKING. I PURCHASED THESE BECAUSE OF THE SALE PRICE.

Here's the thing. I genuinely wanted to love these. It's the first time I've bought golf shoes, and I know FJ is the foremost authority on it, so I naturally wanted the best. My heels are fairly slim, and they slip right out of these when I have socks on. The materials they use are amazing, and I love the crinkled shoe laces. They don't come undone all willy nilly. The cork soles are extremely comfy, and FJ is obviously skilled at their craft. However, the blisters these created from all the friction on the sides of my heels every time I swing a club isn't worth the hassle. I will have to try again, but purchase in store next time, so I can get a proper fitting to a shoe made for my aerodynamic stompers.... Unless FJ wants to make me an ambassador for the thin heeled and model shoes around a mold of my feet.

Comfortable enough but the left shoe seems a little looser than the right shoe

Use for golf. Heel is loose fitting on both shoes. If I buy another I'll probably get a narrow rather than a medium.

Style and quality were great. I returned them because they ran larger than standard sizes (I use my own orthotics so this was an issue) and my heel slipped out of the back of the shoe while trying them on around the house.

Toe box and forefoot are comfy, but heel is loose. Waterproof, but that goes both ways - feet get very sweaty.

These are just average shoes at best. I have purchased a lot of other shoes that were more comfortable than these.

The shoes runs large for a size 12, and in addition, the material is not readable, which caused my foot to sweat

I like FootJoy but this shoe was supposed to be very comfortable. After/during a round of golf, the insoles don't provide comfort after a few holes. There's an area on the outside of my foot that hurts. I replaced the cork insoles ($$$$) and they were much more comfortable. Be prepared for an e tra expense.

So far I am quite disappointed with my new Stratos shoes. I own two pairs of Versaluxe shoes and a pair of Pro/SLs. I prefer the Versaluxe because of the wider two box so I don't need a wide like I do with the ProSL. I believe the Stratos is the current version of the Versaluxe with the same wider toe box.
So far I have been unable to complete a round with my new Stratos shoes. I devekop pain in the bottom of my feet and switch back to my old Versaluxe for the back nine. I checked the insoles of the Stratos shoes as they are supposed to have some new high tech foam but to my surprise they are exactly the same as the insoles in my Versaluxe shoe and they even have the same part number. So much for new foam.
I shall keep trying Stratos, I like the fit but for a premium shoe at a premium price I expected better from Footjoy

Admitedly, I have a challenging time finding good fitting shoes. I need them wide due to a bunion and ordered the ww in 9.5, my usual length size. Nice looking wearing around the house but these were at least a size too long! I even tried a 9. Zappos is great to take em back with free shipping. Not everbody is doing that.

I played several rounds with them. They were very comfortable and provided good traction. Unfortunately they did not provide sufficient lateral support to resist pronating and supinating (I wear a brace and need good lateral support), and I had to return them. I sent them back with the label that was enclosed when I received them on April 14. I have yet to hear back about the purchase price refund.

The shoes were comfortable but they were way too wide from all the other shoes that I purchase at the same size. On top of that I return the shoes and they were delivered on March 23 and it is now April 14 and I have yet to receive my refund or any contact to all of my inquiries
