I bought a white pair of these a few months ago and really liked them. They were comfortable right out of the box. I usually walk and I do change out the factory insole for an arch support. I wanted a darker pair so I bought the gray ones. They did not fit the same as the white pair. The first couple of times wearing them they rubbed my little toe on each foot. They have seemed to break in a little since wearing them for a few rounds. I'm hoping they break in and are as comfortable as my white pair.

I have used Foot Joys to play golf for years and always been pleased. Excellent quality and durability. The design of my new Foot Joy's was refreshing different and the shoestrings stay tied; nice touch.

Pros: -Leather is incredibly soft and fits like a glove. -Cushion is decent -Nice width in forefoot, while not being too wide in mid-foot or heel Cons: -Not waterproof, no matter what they say. My toes do get wet in wet grass. -Tongue not cushioned enough. Shoelaces dig in to top of foot if you lace them tight. - Tread on sole isn't grippy enough. Foot slips easily if grass is wet.

Very comfortable shoe. I used to wear the Contour Fit 8W ... loved them. But of course, they aren't available anymore. Tried the Stratos 8W .. they fit exactly the same as the Contour Fit .. so far a really comfy shoe. I play early in the morning, and walk ... the course is usually very dewy ... keep my feet fairly dry. The one small drawback for me is that they are spikeless ... feet slip a little. But other than that, if they last as well and as long as the Contour Fit (6 years) I'll be happy.

The comfort is superb. The lacing system means they never come undone. Good protection from the wet

Most comfortable golf shoes

great fit super comfortable, stability is great no slipping on the grass and great looking shoe!

Typically, I've worn (FJ) golf sandals for 5+ years and switched to golf shoes last year to get better sole support. This shoe compared to my last pair (Puma) has more comfort and stability. Ordering them extra wide has increased that stability and the shoe fits better. The mesh on the pervious Puma shoe wasn't water resistant and found that these FJ shoes repel water well.

Very nice shoes , nice black leather, very comfortable. Laces are super ! I would have taken a bit wider Fit to size on length. It's unfortunate that a Cie as FJ doesn't carry with them all sizes.... I would have taken the 2E, but you did not have any.

Walked 3 rounds in this shoe since purchase. Shoe is holding up ok. Starting to notice some significant wear in some spots of the shoe. I expected a little better quality.

Great shoes. After one round I will definitely replace the insoles, very uncomfortable and almost no arch support. Very disappointed that shoes that cost this much would scrimp on the insoles. Have worn FJ for years but will definitely look around on next pair.

Love everything about this shoe. Excellent comfort and grip. Have always worn spikes. Be aware however that unless you have super wide feet stick with the regular width. I have a wide right foot and initially they felt great. Now I'm swimming in it. Great shoes but I think Footjoys fit wider than most.

Shoes are comfortable as advertised, and the course I walk meanders through a subdivision, so it's like walking 30 holes. Ugh! Roughly 7-1/2 miles, so comfort is priority one. My only complaint, which goes to most of the shoe manufacturers, is there is so little available in my size, 13 or 14 extra wide. So frustrating to have such a limited selection of styles and colors.

I love the design of these shoes, love the look and the color. Even the shoe laces are really nice. My only complaint is for a pair of shoes that cost this much, they really should feel softer under foot. The insoles and midsole of these shoes is not near as soft as they should be in my opinion. I have Skechers golf shoes that cost a small fraction of what these shoes costs and the Skechers are WAY softer under foot. I like the look of the foot joy shoes better, just wish they were softer under foot.

Trying to decide between Pro sl's and Stratos. The Pro Sl's are great but even in wide width my small toe still rubs against the side. I love the Stratos but the insole is too hard and has too much arch support. I switched the Ortholite insole from the Pro Sl into the Stratos and it was perfect. Footjoy, is there any chance of getting the Stratos with the ortholite insole???

Purchased both shoes to determine which was best for me. After wearing each to test for comfort, I chose the Stratos. For some reason, I received two pairs of Stratos and one of Flex. I've already returned one pair of Stratos and the pair of Flex. Currently using the Stratos for work and golf. I currently work part time on a golf course and enjoy me new shoes.

Great shoes and plenty of grip for spikeless shoes. Not as comfortable as Hyperflex Boa, but still a comfortable shoe.

Lovely shoe. Good grip in dryPremium leather feel. A little wide in toe but nothing a cushioned pair of socks doesn't help. Still haven't tried them in really wet irish weather though

Very comfortable but not a lot of support.

Walk 18 holes every weekend. Needed a shoe that didn't give me blisters, and by golly these did the trick. Would recommend for walkers. Traction on wet grass is questionable, have slipped a couple times.

excellent fit. super comfortable right out of the box. can't give full five stars as it will be another 6 - 8 weeks before I can try them on the course.
