Does what it's supposed to. Well ventilated and keep UV Rays out.

This hat fits me well, and I don't feel ridiculous in it!! I needed a good fitting hat w/ sun protection, venting to prevent sweating and a chin strap to keep it on when it gets breezy. This hat absolutely ticks all those boxes for me, And, it folds!! How cool is that? I especially love the sunglass holder locks on it; no more dropping my sunglasses every time I bend forward. Thanks Sun Day Afternoons for this great hat!

I needed a hat with a wide brim all around to protect me in sunny Maui and this hat is fabulous! I love how it folds for travel and has the sunglasses lock. Great hat, thanks!

Very happy with this hat. I have a large head (7 and 7/8) and the XL fits perfectly with just enough wiggle room to be comfy. The large brim is great at blocking sun and the strap keeps it in place when there is a breeze.

This large sun hat is light enough that you can not feel it on your head, but large enough to shade you from the head to the shoulders.

This hat is comfortable, breathable, ligthweight and provides excellent sun protection coverage. So far, I have used it on a long hike while camping, as well as on walks around my neighborhood. Fair price and high quality. Love the light blue color too (was only finding tan options from other sites, so the color is initially what sold me).

Hat fits perfectly. Love the blue color. I'm using the hat for yard work, beach walks, kayaking and hiking.

Love it and have only used it once so far. It's very lightweight and breathable. I use it for the lake and the beach the most and love it. It's also nice that you can hand wash it because I sweat a lot, lol.

I asked my wife if she likes the hat I bought her. Her reply: Best sun hat I have ever owned. She loves the hat, loved the stickers that came with it, and it was shipped/received in a reasonable amount of time.

I'd been eyeing this hat since last summer and finally purchased it once we started getting some warm and sunny days this spring. I love that it's lightweight, washable, packable, and has a wide brim.

Love it! Will definitely be back when i need another.

I bought this hat for a summer vacation in New Mexico. I absolutely loved it!! It kept the Sun out of my eyes and my face in the shade. It stayed on my hat when it was very windy. I also bought one for my teenage son and he loved it as well. I can highly recommend this hat!

Bought this hat at the botanical gardens in Chicago. Wore it all day with no sunscreen, and even in the late afternoon, the wide brim still provided protection.

Checked off all my criteria except one; The medium is a tiny bit big on me even with the adjustable elastic pull.

I live on an island that gets pretty good breezes most afternoons, and I was hoping this would be The Hat - one with a wide brim for sun protection that would stand up to the wind and not look too stupid. This hat almost works, but the first time I wore it while walking my dog it blew off when I turned 90 degrees (from wind behind me to sideways) and looked down a bit at my dog. It was cinched down as tightly as possible without cutting off circulation (including the cord around the crown). The brim does stand up to the wind when it's coming from in front of me, but the whole hat tips up under those conditions unless I pull the chinstrap down firmly with my hand. That is better than having just the brim flop up, however, which is what usually happens with wide-brimmed hats. I think putting the straps further forward on the hat might help. I got two colors, the bluestone which is a blue/gray and the cream. Both are pretty good, fairly neutral colors, but if I had to pick just one it would be the cream which really does go with everything. The foldability is nice and the hat looks a little less dorky than my hats with the neck drape. While it isn't entirely breathable, it wasn't unbearable in last week's heat wave. I have a small female head and the medium fit well.

Of all the hats, this is the only one ventilates well.

Boo Hoo, it's too big! If not for that it would have been great! I made the mistake of not measuring my hat size before ordering. Having had a Lotus model for years I assumed the sizing would be the same. This being a unisex hat it is larger and doesn't adjust enough to fit my small head.

Large enough to fit my large head and a nice rim for sun protection!

Great hat. Very functional. Only insight is a possible fold seam in front and back as well as sides to better fit in pack or pocket

Good hat, lightweight, great sun protection. Would be 5 star review if it came in small size. Use it for gardening and hiking. Nice wide brim keeps sun off, sunglass holder is convenient as is pocket in hat. Excellent sun fabric. Keeps head cool.
