the hat was made of good quality, but as i had ordered a medium, the size of this medium was a bit bigger than expected.

Nice looking hat and appears to be well made. A bit on the heavy side is the reason for only 4 stars

Beautifully made, highest quality, substantial Panama. My only problem is adjusting the inner size band. It won't stay put. Can it be fixed?

My head measured at the top of the Medium range, but the hat is slightly small. Just a warning that you might want to inflate your head size a little before buying. Otherwise the hat is great! I have ordered a larger size and will keep the first one to give to a friend.

Fits well. Can take time to get it's shape back after packing but it does come back. I've had it a couple of years and it still looks good.

I like this hat, bought two previously, BUT this time it didn't quite fit my head. I wear an extra-large, but the hat I received wasn't quite the same size as the two previous. I got on the phone. Turns out these hats are not the same, one hat to the next. Okay. Returning it was troublesome. No guarantees on getting a hat to fit. I could be sending hats back and forth (back" is my expense). Three weeks waiting for a hat which never happened. I was disappointed. Seems like it could have been resolved simply by somebody finding a bigger hat. I took myself off the mailing list. "

This hat makes my husband look even more handsome and it protects him.

The hat breathes well. The construction is solid. Compliments on its appearance. Only objection is that the top interior of the hat protrudes down to a point on my head that irritates the top of my head as my hair is very thin. I will try a small moleskin patch there to soften it.

The hat provided good sun coverage, remained unscathed from being crammed into luggage compartment, backpacks, plus being sat on. It came back looking sharp and as a bonus frequently garnered favorable comments like nice hat". I recommend it. "

The weight is light so the hat feels good. Being able to temporarily bend the hat is also a good attribute. The built in bends are stylish and keep their shape.

Saw this hat in a store and they only had one left and the size was too big. Took the info down about the hat so I could order it online for the correct size. Getting ready to go on a trip to the beach and wanted something that was packable and still had some style. Ordered it from here and received it in no time! It's collapsable and returns to its shape easily! Perfect for travel and will look great with any outfit. Can't wait to wear it on the beach.

Lovely hat, but for some reason the tan-colored one is heavier than the cream-colored.

This has to be one of the best hats I've ever owned. Living in the Pacific Northwest, and visiting the coast quite often with my young family I really needed a waterproof hat that was truly waterproof. The Cloudburst is than, and more - not a drop of water makes it through its waterproof layer, I stay dry and warm for long periods of time, and its even UPF 50 for great sun protection. I love it and would recommend it to my family and friends!

It is a really nice hat I love the style but the sun goes thru the hat... Not for a very sunny place...

I'm not too big on hats, but when I found out I had melanoma & was encouraged to start wearing a hat when in the sun, I found the Havana, liked the looks of it & bought it...so glad I did. It fits my personality perfectly.

Big-name manufacturers were selling this hat but only in size Medium and Large--I take a small. Found the manufacturer online and they offered the hat in size small--I was thrilled until it arrived and found it fits like a medium or larger. The hat is very stylish, but was shipped crushed down in a USPS flat box and that left an apparently permanent crease around the crest of the hat. I will keep the hat but am looking for a way to make it feel a bit more secure on my head. I've marked the scores for fit and comfort down because a small (sized at 6-3/4 to 6-7/8) should be secure on a head that size, which mine is.

Fit and finish, and materials of this hat are solid. The complaint I have is that the brim on this hat is NOT flat like it is in the pictures. It was packaged with the brim bent up. Will try to remedy this using the iron and bath towel trick, but still a bit disappointed, as it's not exactly the look I wanted.

Over the last 2 years I have bought 3 of these as gifts and for myself! I just bought another one in the same size as the others (small) but it is no where close to the size of the first three,so I ordered another thinking it was mislabeled but the one I received today was the same disappointed that the size has apparently changed

I have been very happy with the fit and appearance of my Havana Hat. But after only a year of use, it has an ugly sweat stain. I thought I would wash it but it is NOT WASHABLE!!! Be aware that your hat will no longer look presentable after you sweat a bit and it cannot touch the water or even natural soaps! Look for a hat that is washable!

Bought 2 of the same hats in different colors both were huge even though I measured twice. Both larger than the size chart indicated. Quality was ok but not great. Sent back and waiting for replacement. Fingers crossed.

I have the Havana from ~10 years ago and the quality of the old hat is FAR superior to the new one.

Nice looking hat but the small was too big for me even though my head measures within the size small range.
