I followed the advice of other reviews and ordered a size down from my usual size, which wound up being perfect. These shoes required a little bit of breaking in (the part across the top of the foot was a little uncomfortably snug at first), but the support in them is so comfortable (perfect for me as a teacher). I'm not in love with the color, but I'll keep them.

A whole size too big. Exchanged for next size down, which fits perfectly. I'm always 9.5 Medium to narrow. The size 39s fit me perfectly. Great shoe when it fits.

The left heel was too loose. I also did not feel there was enough arch support.

Beautiful shoes--style, materials, and all. I was always a 38, but I find myself ordering 39 more often than not now for a better fit. It's true of these as well, so I'm returning these. (But I already have the 39s that are perfect!)

Perfect fit as Dansko usually is. Comfortable but was hoping for a more rigid sole as I have hallux limitus. The leather is nice, but not as attractive as I expected almost "fake" looking. Was in desperate need of basic black flats that I can actually walk in, so I'll keep and perhaps use another insole for less bend in the forefoot.

This looks like a quality shoe in construction and materials. But it runs large. I exchange it for a smaller size.

Unfortunately the 38 was tight but the 39 sloppy. With dansko I am in between sizes unless there is a strap or tie which keep the bigger size secure.

The shoe is very comfortable. The only downside was the color. It's really orange-y red.

Excellent shoe but didn’t fit me properly. One size was too big and the next size down was too small. I wish it had worked out for me because Dansko was a nice shoe with arch support.

They feel comfy. A bit loose but that is good for when my feet swell. I'll wear these for casual and dressier as well.

The front felt great but the heel was big on me.

Unfortunately, I had to return this shoe. I normally wear a women's 8.5-9 and these were very tight to squeeze into, and I know that Danskos don't need to break in, so there was no stretching period to be expected. The tip of the shoe was rounder than the photo portrayed, so the style was nothing like I wanted.

I returned these because they fit a half size too big. The 7.5 felt like 8 - 8.5 and my foot slid around inside the shoe. I am going to repurchase in a half size smaller because they have good support and are really comfortable.

Sadly didn't work for me at all. I have extremely high arches, a painful Morton's neuroma in one foot, and relatively narrow heels. Danskos are usually a rock-solid option, but these were uncomfortably tight across the instep and loose in the heel. Back they go! Too bad--the tan was a lovely neutral and the leather felt soft and luxurious. Just a lousy fit.

I think these shoes have solved my problem. I have a bone spur on top of foot and these shoes avoid contact with this problem

I ordered down a size based on the reviews. These were too short for me.

Very comfy but need to order a size down. Normally wear 11-12. Or a 42.

My order was delivered yesterday. I typically wear a size 10, and I have flat feet. I always read reviews which is frustrating sometimes. So many opinions. I ordered the 9.5-10 based on the reviews saying that the shoe runs large, and BINGO it worked this time. It fits comfortably right out of the box. The inner sole is removable in case you want to add your own orthotic. I have a bunion on my right foot with other major surgery a decade ago on the same foot. My feet in general are my downfall. I have given up wearing heels of any size so it's a struggle to find cute, flat shoes that offer arch support and even orthotic friendly from time to time. The only fault I should mention is that it seems the back of the heel seems a bit short going up the Achilles tendon. I walked around the house a good bit with them on, and it didn't slip off. However, if I were to add my orthotic insert it would make my foot rise in the shoe and may pose a problem. For this reason I will not use my orthotic insert. There is moderate arch support and the shoe is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this shoe for the price. I have come to terms with the fact that my shoes cost substantially more now than when I was younger, and they are worth every dollar!

I love these shoes and wanted to keep them, but they were a funny fit. Usually 42 in Dansko works for me. The 42 was surprisingly large, with heel slippage, so I optimistically I ordered a 42, but they were too tight. I'm in between, sadly. If you can find some that fit they are so neutral and could be worn with almost anything.

I have very narrow feet and ordered these in hopes that they would work as I love my other Danskos. Sadly they were just too wide in the shoe and the heel so my foot slipped out continually. Note- if you have an average width foot I think these would work fine. A bit old lady looking but so comfy and with black pants these would definitely pass as dressy enough for the office.

The soles of the shoes looked as if they had been worn.

Yay Dansko. I have about 3 other pair of Dansko's. They are reliable, well made and true to size.

They are great shoes - as usual for Dansko - but, I did not rate them 5 stars because they are not metallic in any way despite the color being called Pewter Metallic Distressed. They are gray/pewter and distressed, but there is nothing metallic in the color. They are great if what you want is a gray distressed flat shoe.

These shoes definitely run a full size too big and loosen as they are worn. I like they style and they are fairly comfortable flats
