Everyone was right, these run large. I've been wearing size 41 Danskos for years and years . Had to return these for size 40, which is perfect. Come on, Danskos, be consistent in your sizing.

These are so surprisingly comfortable and supple, they don't even require a liner sock. The arch support is great as well. They are well-made and stylish. They do make my foot look a little long, but they are worth it.

Beautiful color and seemed like they could have been comfortable if the shoes didn’t seem like they were from two pairs! One too small, one too big, which has never happened to me before. Sadly, back they go.

So comfortable! I have high in-steps, and smallish bunions and they are still great, as an FYI. however, ordered another pair in the grey, and one foot was like a size too big! if I don’t have a high-step to keep the shoe on, I would recommend sizing down. I’m a nine and the 39 worked fine with one pair, not the other.

The color was amazing and leather was buttery soft . The shoes were a little wide in my heel and arch area so had to return because felt leather would stretch and I would be walking out of this shoe.

I normally wear an 8.5 so ordered the 39, those were too big so exchanged for 38s. They are a teeny bit tight but since they are real leather, I expect them to fit perfectly after a few wears.

Beautiful red shoe. I’m usually 8-8.5. Ordered 7.5-8 and falling off my foot. Granted I have a narrow heel but average other.

I like these shoes a lot, but they do run big. The red color very nice and the arch support is fairly good compared to other flats. One negative is that the leather on top is very soft and may not protect my feet. Nevertheless, I'm thinking of getting them in another color.

The shoe insert has holes under the ball of the foot for breathing and it irritates my foot, so I will pull the insert that came with the shoe and purchase another insert that has padding and is smoother.

I wear 11.5, but ordered 10.5-11 based upon other reviewers. Turns out, for me, the sizing is correct. I am exchanging these for the same shoe, but in the higher size range.

I had to go down 1/2 size. Possibly because I have narrow feet and want a tighter fit. Overall the shoe is comfortable and durable for daily wear.

Was genuinely surprised at how large these were on my feet. I'm usually a 5.5-6 in flats, and that's the size ordered. Sadly they don't make a smaller size, but these also fit my toe separators in them, and don't rub my bunion, so they're a bit wider than the average shoe, but feel good. The quality is nice, I like the look of them overall for a leather flat. I think if I wear no-show socks AND add heel liners, these will fit me and be comfortable while walking around.

I purchased this shoe - based on the reviews that it runs wide and big. I wear a 10.5 - I bought the 10.5-11 size. The shoe was tight overall. I have medium size bunions on both feet - no way this shoe would ever fit. Without bunions, the shoe would have fit - looked nice on, better than a sneaker!

Ok but not exceptional for the price

I found these to be a bit too wide for my foot. Alas, they are going back.

I love the look of these shoes, and I wanted to love the shoes too, but I have plantar fasciitis that I'm still dealing with (pain on the bottom of the heel), and with the bobble of extra cushion that Dansko put right at the heel, it unfortunately hits my tender spot, so just isn't for me. If I didn't have plantar fasciitis (or when it heals), I think these shoes would be great.

This is a nice-looking shoe and comfortable too. My heels are really narrow so even though the size is right, the heel on these is just too loose for my particular feet. (Based on other reviews, I did order a size down from my usual 7.5 size.)
