I only wear New Balance shoes because I wear a 4 E width. I have been buying the 840v4 model which has a more rounded toe box and they fit perfect even before any break in time. Unfortunately, the toe of this model narrows a little bit at the end and did not fit well. So, I returned them.

The box is stamped 12 4e but the sticker attached to the shoes just says wide. My guess is they are a EE size. For me they are way too tight

I love these. They look great (I'm female) and they are very comfortable. I bought them in extra wide. They do have a normal amount or even possibly more room (height) in the toe box, but once I add my insoles, on one foot the shoe puts a tiny bit of pressure on my big toe.

ALWAYS no problems or hassles. Think this is at least my 1/2 dozenth pair of NB running shoes from Joe's. Was very reluctant the first time but always happy to buy there now.
This pair has been as good as the rest. My size 14's support about 250#'s and they are comfortable.

I have hard to fit feet, and most shoes rub on the side of the left foot. These do not, and I can walk all day without any pain. This is the second pair I've purchased. I love them!

Awesome shoes. Too bad Zappos has decided to us the Post Office for delivery. Shoes were delivered to the wrong house once again !!! Had to wait 2 extra days for them to show up at my house.

Perhaps one of my favorite pairs of shoes in a long while; great grip on slippery trails, nearly waterproof yet breathable. These took a little longer than I'm used to to break in, and I found them slightly narrower in the toe box (I'm size 10.5), so I might keep the size and go wider.

Shoe fits great. I recently found out I wear 11.5 due to my toes hurting more when I was wearing size 11. Made the transition with these shoes first and I have to say it's like the shoe knows what I was feeling!

Ordered 11 wide (EE) and the fit was just as my previous NBs have been. The mesh material has a tighter weave than previous purchases. Seems like it might last longer. My only complaint is the laces often don’t seem to want to stayed tied.
