This is the best max cushion shoe I have tried so far. I'm 56, 6'0", 160 pounds and this shoe saves my legs! The shoe excels on both roads and trails equally. It is nice to have an upper that isn't over-engineered and lets a superb midsole do its thing! The midsole is super cush while retaining a nice turnover from the sweet rocker shape that doesn't ever impose. Enough stack that no rock plate is needed on trails. I have run in them a couple of times on wet granitic trails and the outsole gripped well. D width fits my fairly wide metatarsal heads well, and lockdown is very good. Really great shoe!

Have a wound on the bottom of my left foot. Am still waiting Orthotics & Medi Care to get their heads together & get me a custom insert. Until they do, this shoe is a life saver!!

I picked these up when they first came out and they are my forever go to recovery shoe. It doesn't matter the distance these shoes have the cushion and support to keep your tired legs going.

Got these and Fresh Foam More V3 both in size 10.5EE. Lerato was too small and FF More V3 was too big. ?? How does that happen?? I believe the Lerato might be a great shoe but I will never know because it doesn't come in 4E. The Lerato feels like a quality shoe but again I won't be able to try it out. I ordered FF More V3 from a different vendor because New Balance did not have them in 10 4E. I got them in regular running and in Trail running versions and
they are both great so far. I would so love to be able to try the Lerato if I came in 10 4E. Oh well.

I'm 51, 155lbs, 40-60mpw, landing are neutral, and run on trails only. With the exception of the carbon plated road shoes, I've probably tried on or used every max stack shoe produced since 2008.....? I'm using these More 3s as my trail shoes and they are more efficient than the other current max stack offerings for road or trail. Efficiency for me on the trails means less general weight, flexible forfoot, little to no knobby tread, and no hard plasticy feeling overlays on the upper. This shoe - generous toe box (width / height ), narrow, but not choking midfoot, comfy and locked down heel compartment..... and low offset at 4mm.... low arch. I run my laces through the top holes. For 99.9% of the trail running I do, I don't need knobbies. Our local trails range from fire road to cattle blown out, way out sloped steep singletrack.....all primarily dirt. Flats, off camber, long steep climbs, and bombing downhills and doing it with stability and comfort. These More 3s blow the doors off all the other max stack trail shoes offered for 2021. The cushioning takes advantage of the 38/ 34 height, and is a quicker tuned cushion compared to something like SpeedGoat 4. Although shaped slightly like a rocker, the flexiness of the midsole dissipates any rigid rocker sensation. The only bad thing with this shoe is the lateral and up and down movement of the tongue..... not the thickness or shape. I solved this by applying a 3/4 x 1 inch wide strip of extreme outdoor spikey side, self adhesive velcro to the label on the tongue - the laces mesh with strip on tie up and the tongue stays in place.
I've got 5 pairs of these now, dated and numbered. These are the best max stack road shoes for trail running on primarily dirt trails which have been dry for about 8 hours. The flexible forfoot with 34 mm of foam under the metatarsals is HEAVEN and allows for full speed efficient climbing. Lack of flexibility is the destroyer of almost all the major brands max stack trail shoes.

Very happy with these, at 6,6 and 220lbs and a life long runner I have been trying to find a max cushion shoe that works for me. I have been through countless versions, (thanks Zappos ) and this is the best balance of comfort, build quality, drop, and performance for me. Buying another set right away!

I have purchased 3 pair of Fresh Foam More 1, 5 pair of Fresh Foam More 2, and 2 pair of Fresh Foam More 3. I love the shoes because of the comfort, fit, and style! I do not like the longer tongue on the Fresh Foam 3. Fortunately, the tongue is more of a style is issue. Fit and comfort remain outstanding!

These shoes are boxy in the toe area. I had to get xtra wide to fit the center. I tried the bondi 7 wide and they were too narrow. These feel great.

These are super comfortable shoes. I am am a big guy and these shoes reduce impact stress to practically nothing. I don't know what they did in engineering these shoes but somebody deserves an award.

Fitted perfectly. Always found NB's 2E is true to its size unlike some other brands.

New Balance has done the impossible, make a highly-cushioned shoe also feel responsive and light. The rocker design of the More v3 leads you through your stride, making this high-stack feel like a daily trainer. The fit is true to size, although you should know New Balance doesn't normally give a thumb-and-a-half in the toe area, leading some runners to say they run short. If you're looking at the 1080 v11, this is a definite alternative and the heel fit is much better here. The only possible knock on the More v3 are the looks. It's a clean style but chunky.

Love these shoes in mens size 8. Tried womens 9 1/2 Wide but they were to big in the heel area. The men's shoes were narrower in the heel therefore fit me better. Love the ball of the foot cushion. These shoes are making my long walks so much more comfortable. So glad I found them. I will get more of this style shoe once they come down in price.

This is a very comfortable shoe to wear. Maybe a bit too soft of a foot bed for some. It has a fair amount of squishiness to it. I purchased it for casual and gym use. It's joint friendly and would be great for someone that stands a lot or who's aiming to travel easy on their knees, hips and feet. The material is somewhat fuzzy and collects debris when walking through the yard, etc. A minor detail.

I ran my first 5k in these shoes after having meniscus surgery in both knees. These are so much more comfortable than my HOKA Bondin 7s. I wear extra wide and these fit perfectly and have more cushion than HOKA Bondi. The only concern is durability. The middle of outsole seems to be developing cracks. Time will tell.
