At first these shoes felt great . But after a couple months I noticed the left shoe was flattening out on the outside causing the shoe to slant outwards . I noticed this because my left ankle had unexpectedly started to bothering me quite a bit once I realized the issue i quit wearing the shoes and recovered after a few days. I tried to let Newbalance know about this problem since I bought them from a different online store and not Newbalance I had to fill out a form telling my issue 6 photos of the shoes and the problem and show my proof of purchase. So I add this and a copy of the purchase confirmation email I get a reply 2 weeks later that since my receipt/email doesn't show a complete date I must re submit everything and they will look at in in 30 business days . My receipt email only shows the month and the day because they were purchased in 2022 if they were purchased another year it would then list the year . That's what newbalance was concerned with not that thier product caused a injury. So I can't recommend this company.

I was looking for a pair of shoes for recovery runs; the Hoka Rincon 2 was my recovery run shoe, but the midsole died after 150 miles. I took a chance on the more V3 after seeing the stellar reviews, and boy, am I glad I bought these! The fresh foam is ultra-comfortable; I feel like I am running on marshmallows! The shoes fit true to size and the outsole rubber provides good grip, and may help with durability. Negatives: It is too pricey for the max cushion shoe category; there are some good options for cheaper (Hoka Clifton 8, Brooks Glycerin 19). The shoes are also a tad heavy, so I don't expect it to break running PRs, but it does the job as an easy day/recovery day shoe. Another negative about the shoe is the breathability; the shoes get very warm and the summer weather doesn't help. Other than that, if you're looking for a max cushion shoes (if you choose to disregard the price) that cradles your feet, whether you are a runner or a walker, look no further!
I'd also recommend:

The shoes are very comfortable and very cushy, almost like walking on firm marshmallows. The problem with these is that once you incur a "dent" for any reason in the toe box, the dent stays forever. Once it's there, it rubs against your toe(s) inside the shoe. I've never experienced anything like this before. It happened on my first pair, and I was able to trade them in for a new pair because of the dent, and it happened on the second pair. These shoes cost too much to have to live with a dent that rubs against my toes. I am returning these in the hopes that New Balance fixes this issue before I need to get a new pair.

There is not enough room for my toe width wise. The toe box is a bit narrow.

Love the shoe and Zappos is the best but multi possible failure points on the sole. Less than 50 miles in the sole is coming apart.

I have these and am wearing then on 30 day trial, they feel a bit small and tight, I am between sizes and I have to decide if I want shoes slightly small or slightly too big.

I bought this product for slower recovery runs. The cushioning and fit is great. The lockdown is also great. Unfortunately, the outsole seems to be coming apart after only 20 miles. Maybe this pair is a dud, but I was surprised given I own many pairs of new balance shoes, and the quality is usually pretty good.

Sneakers are light and comfy. All black looks good. They seem like they would be a great walking shoe, but they are loud and clunky. Or at least they are loud for me when my heel strikes the ground. This is this is by far the loudest pair of sneakers I have ever owned. How could a shoe make predominantly of foam be so loud? I have limited options in my size so I will likely keep them and see how they work out. But $164 is outrageous. If foam is that expensive, then go back to the older proven technology (that likely lasted longer). I've heard other reports of the foam sole collapsing which makes the shoes useless.

The most comfortable shoe I have ever owned! Excellent padding and quality, great for those who have to be on their feet most of the day. The only downsides are a slight learning curve when it comes to walking because of how tremendously tall the soles are without dragging your feet and getting around a slippery tongue that oftentimes shifts to one side and never stays centered. This shoe will definitely augment your height and make your parents scratch their heads thinking you had one final growth spurt!

Worked great with my custom orthotics. They are shockingly light and very comfortable. On the negative side they are pretty bulky and ugly looking. I will look to see if I can buy another pair in something other than straight black.

Really disappointed. I thought this was going to be a great recovery run shoe. These are huge shoes. Lots of foam, lots of padding, very hot, very heavy, somehow still the most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. I just feel like I’m running with big hot bricks on my feet and they make my knees hurt. The high heel counters make my Achilles hurt. I would return them but I’ve worn them twice and the soles are already getting torn up. Absolute waste of money.

DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES! BUYER BEWARE…These most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned. Unfortunately there is definitely A quality issue with this model. I initially bought a pair in the gray color and on the first day of wear, several the rubber treads started to come loose and separate from the sole of the show. I easily returned the first pair (thanks Zappos) and was promptly refunded. I have been buying New Balance shoes for years and they have always held up well. For this reason, I figured this quality issue was just a fluke so I purchased a second pair of 1080V Mores in the blue. These I wore for approximately 5 days and to my chagrin, these started to fail in the exact same fashion as my first pair. Once is a fluke, twice is a problem. I’m shocked to see an utter lack of quality control from New Balance. I also find it hard to believe that this is an isolated group of incidents and that they are unaware of these possible failures. It’s disappointing that New Balance left these on the market. This isn’t some entry level shoe. This is their flagship product and people are spending a lot of money on these. Cheaper to leave them on the shelf and hope for the best. Manufacturing issues and or design issues happen but it is unacceptable for a company to ignore these issues and hope for the best. It’s dishonest and disrespectful to their customers. This is the last pair of New Balance shoes that I will ever buy. I can live with a quality issue, I’m in manufacturing and understand but I can’t live with a company not addressing an issue on their flagship product immediately. It’s unethical. In the spirit of transparency, I have only had issues with 1080V3 Mores. I own multiple pairs of the standard V3s and they have all held up well. Anyway purchase at your own risk.

The New Balance shoes use to be great, so are the "Fresh Foam More V3." But I noticed an annoying "improvement" on the tongue. Because of this there was two hard "dots" caused be the "seam." (I'll attach picture and show.) This felt really hurtful after tied shoes as usual during my run of 50K Had to re-tie after about 25K. Foot was "sore" many days afterward and I had to use my old New Blaance to be able to run 2 days after. Please remove this unnecessary feature for upcoming models. //Blessings, Richard.

The shoe was used for walking around London. We logged upwards of 20K per day. The show was stable (no rolled ankles), well cushioned, and wide enough to prevent blisters

These are the most comfortable running shoes I have found, and even better, come in 4E width. I've put about 20 miles a week on them for the past 4 months. While they are a bit bulky due to the heavy foam cushioning, the comfort factor is well worth it. Just ordered another pair.
