Had a pair prior and nothing else felt like them. I tried on 15+ pairs of shoes and hated them all, because they didn't have cushion.

These fresh foam are great running shoes I'm just getting back into running after my accident which left me with some titanium & screws in my ankle & for me the proper support for high impact is very important.

The toe box was a bit larger than I prefer. The foam sole was very cushy.
I'd also recommend:

I love them. I"m 77 and like to hike the woods with my Belgian Malinois. I wish you would make a sturdy boot/shoe as cushy as these. I'd buy at least 2 pairs!!

What happened to the Wide and X Wide sizes for the 1080v11 ?? I have been purchasing the wide and x wide in 14. The x wide fits me the best. I was so excited to find a shoe with great comfort and style and have bought several pairs. This shoe also gives me the arch support I need and quells my plantar fasciitis!! I hope the wide and x wide sizes return. It is so difficult finding shoes that fit, alleviate foot pain and great style!!

With having very wide feet, it is very hard for me to find comfortable shoes. These fit the bill. Thanks

The fit was perfect. The toe box is wide, which is what I was looking for. Very comfortable shoe.

I am an avid runner (30-40 mi/week). I bought these on the recommendation of my local running store (shout out to Confluence Running in Binghamton NY). Anyway, I've never run in NB before so I wasn't too sure about trying out a new brand. Very glad I went with the recommendation. I retired my first pair of these shoes today after 100 runs and 510 miles. That is about 200 miles further than is typical for me. They probably had a few more miles left in them, but why push it. I have run in various models of Saucony, Brooks, Asics, and Nike, I replaced my retired 1080v11 with another pair just like them.

I am very happy with these shoes, I have been buying Asics for years but lately their 2E shoes have been feeling tight as I think they cut the toe box down a little bit, If you have fat feet like me its hard to have enough room for your foot to be comfortable but the 2E shoes from New Balance feel true to size, they give a nice return feel to them and they are lighter than the Asics as well. So Far So Good

Saw lots of reviews about the heel tab being an issue but I didn't find it to bother me on longer runs. The toe box is wider than the arch area which personally I found quite comfortable. The Fresh Foam soles are really great, I find it to be the most comfortable cushy sole out there having tried many brands. I switched from Mizunos to these and dont regret it for a second. They're also extremely light as well.

Like the reviews I read before buying these 1080v11, they feel like I'm walking on thick foam or as others said "like marshmallows”. Lateral stability is slightly less than some ultra-flat soles I’ve worn but still very good. Overall, I really like them.

Awesome for wide feet and feet who had suffered accidents and surgeries in the past. I'm size 8. I have wide feet. Ordered 8 wide, and fit perfectly.

I have consistently purchased Foam 1080's, which provide good cushion for walking and running but also good arch support. The actually fit like a glove. I've been using New Balance shoes for 40 years and have never been disappointed.

I mostly walk and do some light running, and this model really balances out the problems caused by my high arches. They feel a bit more durable than the 1080v1's, which is also a plus.

I am a short fat man who just started moving. I wanted to do this with the least amount of excuses so I went to a running store and got fitted. I'm happy, my feet are happy, now I continue to improve which is good. I already purchased a second pair so I can alternate.

Everyday running, easy runs, tempos, long runs. The shoe does it all. It runs about a half size big though.

I love these shoes! Great looking, incredibly comfortable and supportive for walking and running. I have an extra wide foot, and it's so hard to find great shoes that cater to everybody. Great job NB.
