I've been running marathons and triathlons in New Balance since 1998. These Fresh Foam are simply another excellent shoe in a long line of New Balance shoes to which I've become accustomed.

Fit great & very comfortable. Feet are feeling better already.

Why does NB paint the soles? If you look at the majority of the models/colors of this shoes, the sides of the soles have ink on them. Why? It makes a good looking shoe look unsightly. I bought the Navy, gold label, plain white sole color scheme because it looks nice with jeans and the sole sides aren't inked, they're just plain white and they look great. I wish NB would also do this for their other colors - JUST LEAVE THE SOLES WHITE!!! It looks better and makes the shoe more wearable for all occasions, other than just exercise. Let me repeat, I LOVE the fit of these shoes, but just with that NB would stop ink staining the soles. It looks awful. Oh, and I hope NB continues to make narrow size options for all their fresh foams. We narrow-footed people would greatly appreciate it.

I had to order a Mens wide shoe to get one wide enough. It feels fine. Wish I could order Mens sizing in Womens colors

This shoe is true to size and incredibly comfortable! Only cons can be the *sensation* of heel sleep because of the satin finished ultra heel, but it's actually just your heel sinking and rising in the FreshFoam X midsole. This V11 shoe was made using a really great last, the newer 1080v12 runs too large/wide, but you half size down it's slightly too narrow. Overall I'd recommend trying on both the v11 and v12 because while they're very similar the last that was used, toe box width and heel fit are all a bit different! (I think the Ultra heel is a bit more stylish, imo)

Always looking for a shoe with good cushion and support. This shoe is perfect for both. Lightweight and perfect for my bad knees.

These are honestly some of the most comfortable if not THE MOST COMFORTABLE shoes I have ever put on my feet. Not only are they comfortable but I love how they look as well. I wore them to Universal and compared to other shoes I have tried in the past my feet did not start to hurt in these after walking around the park like they normally do so I totally recommend these.

I love my 1080s. I have now bought three pair. I'm CERTAIN to buy one or two more because these shoes are just awesome! I have issues with my feet and these shoes absolutely address those issues! The one nuisance is that NB says that they process orders "within two days". That means order the shoes you want as soon as possible and do not pay extra for shipping because they're gonna take their sweet time processing the order and then send the shoes at their convenience. Give yourself at least a week.

I switched to NB a few years ago for all of my shoes and I couldn't be happier. They are so comfortable, durable and light. This was my first time purchasing the 1080's and they are no doubt my favorite model. Beyond levels of comfort I've experienced with shoes before. The added cushioning and mesh top provide much needed relief for my flat feet/heel spur.

I had this pair in another color and wanted the black. I like them.

Although the price may be tough to overlook, these make an excellent shoe for your a average runner and walker. They still continue to make me smile each and every time I put them on. The material is both very breathable and flexible. The midsole provides that right amount of extra cushion and comfort needed. These were my first pair of NB ever and I love them. I would recommend to a friend and will likely buy another pair, just in a different model.
