About the forefoot fit: I have the 880 v9 and the fit in these v11s has changed since then. The forefoot used to be more squared off and it isn't now. It's a more generic running shoe fit/shape. I got these in a half size up from the v9s. They don't fit the same as the old ones and they don't have the same bounce or spring that I felt in the v9. But the fit and feel is very close to the Brooks GTS 20, which is what I usually run in. So I'm keeping them because they're close enough, but I won't get them again. (I also wear 2E wide in all these shoes, fwiw.)

I can't really comment on size as I had to get a men's shoe to get the red shoes I wanted. All searches said 2 sizes down, so wearing a 9.5, I ordered a 7.5 first and they were too snug, and even though they were snug, I knew they were the ones. I quickly ordered a size 8 and returned the other ones. I have tried 7 different shoes and these are the ones. They are supportive and comfortable. I love to walk and I'm happy to have shoes that don't hurt my feet from all angles. No more heel pain, knee pain or side tendon pain! Thanks Zappos for allowing me to find the perfect shoe for my foot by returning the ones that didn't work for me! You have a forever customer in me!

These shoes look, fit and feel great! They do have some squeaking when using an orthotic under the insole. But they are sized correctly and 3 runs/walks in and I’m happy with their performance and support.

Not a runner, use for everyday wear. fit right, order your normal size. great width. would recommend.

Review: FF880v11. I normally wear 10w (ee or 2e). For some reason, these days, New Balance's are running slightly small. Thus, I had to buy 10.5w. In the past I wore 10xl (eeee/ 4e). But I lost 150 Lbs and I guess my feet are a little smaller now? These shoes feel very slightly small. I assume they will feel better, as they brake-in. For some reason, the shoe laces are two different lengths? The 880's, are not much better than my older 410v5 (MT410CC5). I prefer nice base (dark) colors, not bright ones. I like shades of brown, or grey and black, or dark blue and black, etc. ...

Confortable, good walking snickers

I'm a fan of these shoes as both the color and the fit are excellent. I'm interested to see how they hold up as my feet tend to wear down the instep relatively quickly, but I'll likely be back for another pair after that.

I first purchased the 13 4E, but were too short. The 14's are great. The soft material allows for a little snugness in the width. Very comfortable, though. Arch support is fair. Very soft soles. Seems great for everyday wear. Doug

Good fit and very comfortable with the new Fresh Foam. The Zappos web site is easy to use and the service is always tops!

I'm a size 9...in these a 9 1/2 would be better!

I was super disappointed that these were too small. I was fitted in a running store at a women’s 10-1/2 EE. I have a pair of Brooks in 11EE that are super roomy. These Fresh Foams in men’s 9-1/2 EE were snug in the whole toe area. I had to return. The soles were really comfy though and I like the look.
