These are great! Will buy them again and again. True to size. Great for my 2 year old. Keeps his toes safe, easy to run. They do get a little bit smelly, but no big deal. Love them.

I bought these shoes for my 3 1/2 year old grandson. The workmanship on this shoe is great. Great cushioning and easy to put on and take off. I will buy him a new pair next summer!

My grandson loves the Newport H2. He is wearing them to school and they function like an athletic shoe but keep him cool during these warm days! He is 5 and thinks he is the coolest kid with these shoes! He has a wide foot and these are very comfortable for him.

My very picky 8 year old girl absolutely loves these shoes! I love them because they protect her toes like a shoe but breathe like a sandal. Great for climbing trees, riding bikes, or walking at the beach. I will definitely buy another pair when she outgrows these. Worth every penny!

These are the best shoes for kids. They are well constructed and protect their little toes. From what they tell me, they like them and are comfortable.

These shoes have been perfect for my active 5 year old! He likes them and they are easy for him to put on, and I like that his feet are protected. He tripped earlier this year wearing Crocs that slid off. These Keens are practical and look great, too!

These are the best shoes ever! My kids get a new pair every summer. They last and make great hand-me-downs. They are comfortable with or without socks. The closed toe makes them safe to wear anywhere.

Bought these shoes for my daughter to match her mom, and she loves them! The first time she wore them was on a three hour hike up some steep terrain and back down - no complaints, no blisters, no worries! They feel and look the same quality as my wife's (the adult version), which is refreshing in a kid's shoe. I would say they are worth the extra money over the similar, rubber version. Thus far, they have been hiking, camping, wading through a few creeks and worn to bed. Not a complaint about this product! We'll most likely get her another pair when she grows out of these!

I bought these for my son back in May after seeing all the good reviews about them. I especially like that they’re enclosed in the toe and heel areas. (They’re essentially like strappy tennis shoes.) And because of the design, he’s allowed to wear them at daycare. Another bonus is that they’re waterproof so can be worn on both dry ground or in water. (But waterproof doesn’t mean that the strappy parts stay dry. It does get wet since it’s just canvas. But I guess they’re considered waterproof because of the rubber soles/toe area.) These shoes were particularly useful during a day at the amusement park where he could wear them tramping around the park riding rides and he didn’t have to take them off for the water park area, even with their “only water shoes” restriction. From what I could tell, there was no need for a break-in period since I didn’t see any marks or blisters on his feet after the first couple days of wear, nor did he complain of fuss about the shoes hurting. I agree with the other reviewers about the smelly feet issue after he wears them all day. I feel that they are true to size, but ordered them a little big so that they will last through the Fall, where he can wear them with socks to school. I will definitely order these again for him next summer. Get them - you won’t regret it. Yes, they’re a little pricey, but no more than a pair of Stride Rites plus the functionality of them makes them worth it.

My son loves these and so do I! He is 2 1/2 and these are the only shoes he wears all summer. This is his second pair of Keens Newport H2. (He outgrew his first pair and I could not get him a new pair fast enough.) They wear well and are very durable. They look great with shorts or pants. This style is a little more difficult to get on and off than his other style because they do not open all the way over the top of the foot. There is a permanent strap. Before we had the H2 Baby/Toddler that opened further. I would highly recommend these shoes for active little boys! I would also recommend using Zappos! I love shopping with Zappos. And because I have purchased so many shoes with them they have upgraded my shipping to overnight for free! That is amazing! Especially with little ones who can't wait to get their new shoes! I recommend Zappos to everyone I can!

I bought these for my daughter for camp and she loved them from the moment she put them on! Comfortable, durable, waterproof, and cute colors! She does have a narrow foot but was able to adjust with the bungee cord. Overall great shoe for summer!

Great shoes! Our son has worn this style of Keen this summer and last summer and we\'ve been impressed with their durability and comfort. They stay on better than some kids\' sandal styles and I love the protection they offer to our son\'s toes. Zappos has excellent customer service!

Great shoes. Comfortable and easy to put on a 2 year old. I love how they can be washed in the washing machine. They were starting to stink a little and came out looking brand new. Highly recommend.

I purchased these sandals for my son right before our vacation to the beach. They are a great multi-purpose shoe. From the beach to hiking to out to eat they worked and helped keep my packing light. I would definitely buy again.

Great shoe. I have bought these two years in a row. My son is an 8.5W and the size 9s were a perfect fit since there is plenty of room up top, which is also adjustable. Love the full back, as there is no strap that can rub blisters on his ankles- a common issue for him.

My two year old loves these shoes! He rides a balance bike and uses his toes to brake and these shoes show no sign of abuse! These are our third pair and my son grows out of them well before they wear out! We go to all the theme parks in So Cal and most of them have some sort of water feature for kids to play in and these shoes are perfect for that! They dry on their own, protect their feet while running and having plenty of ventilation to keep their feet cool at the other park's attractions. The only time he doesn't like them is when they get sand in them. It is a bit hard to shake them out without taking them off, but they are so easy to take on and off that I personally don't mind it.

These are cooler than sneakers, and safer than sandals with the bumper toe guard and bungee cord. This is the first pair my grandson has had but he'll be getting more.

These are adorable, durable shoes and worth every penny! My son has worn them often for the past month and they look like new. I will be buying him another pair next summer.

These are great comfortable sandals for my four year old running, jumping, climbing boy. The keep his feet cool and his toes covered. They are even easy enough for him to put on buy himself.\r\n\r\nI ordered the wrong size at first but Zappos offered excellent return and delivery service.

I bought each of my kids a pair of these shoes for the summer. I wanted something that was sturdy enough for walking a lot and something that would also keep their feet cool. Oh, and something I didn't have to worry about getting dirty and being a pain to clean. These Keen shoes fit all of my requirements, and one month into summer, they've been perfect. I have yet to throw them in the washing machine, but friends have told me that they're fine in the washing machine. Now I'm just thinking about when I'm going to buy myself a pair of these perfect shoes/sandals!
