I tried to find these shoes in several nearby sporting goods stores but they don't carry them because they're not in season. Thank god for Zappos! My daughter spent lots of time looking at all of the colors and decided on the blue ones. Shoes are excellent quality and can be worn with or without socks. They also seem to have pretty good arch support and the color is really great. Would highly recommend for playtime, especially for kids who'd rather not spend lots of time tying their shoes. :)

I bought these for my seven year old son for this summer. He has had them for over six months now and has worn them a ton. These have to be the best shoes ever. He has loved them. He wore them almost every day this summer and still wants to wear them with socks as the weather gets colder. He can put them on really easy and he says they are extremely comfortable. He has very sensitive feet too. He if very picky about how shoes feel. We plan on buying him a new pair in the spring. His only job is to decide which color to pick. We went with orange this time since he likes bright colors. We'll see which way he goes next. And just a side note: I'm a teacher and Keens have been my own saving grace for sore, aching feet. Don't hesitate to buy this brand! They are well worth the money.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! My son has been wearing Keens since he's been old enough to wear shoes. He started kindergarten this year, and the school rule on shoes was closed toes and closed backs. Keens are the only sandal I could find to fit the criteria. And we live on an island in the South Pacific- it's hot- we need sandals!

These shoes are the best!! My son and daughter both love their Keens.

These are spectacular especially for children as they are comfortable as slippers, but cool as sandals. I buy this style every year and this is the seventh pair that I bought for my children. These are excellent quality!

Keen's shoes are amazing. My little one has big fat feet and a penchant for removing his shoes. These fit like a glove and make it difficult for him to take them off.

We love Keens, and this color is so cool! My daughter has a wide foot which tends to be flat. This shoe has great support, a wide toe and breathing room. The width across the bridge of the foot is adjustable...and they look great! The only reason we replace a Keen shoe is to go up a size or to get cool, new colors. We give them away when we're finished, and they live on long after.

I got these for my 6 year old grandson and he loves them. The orange color (his choice) is a nice burnt orange and not as bright as the picture.

This is the second pair of Keens we've bought for our son. He seems comfortable in them. No blisters. They're easy enough to get on and off. I think we'll buy him a new pair every time he needs shoes and the weather is warm.

Wrong size shoe for our grandson. The turn around time was very fast and easy. Shipping svc. is always a mind blower with our few purchases so far. Zappos gets our 100% vote for online shoe purchases. Ordered this sandal as an orthotic could be worn in it and that worked well.

Sturdy and comfortable for my 2 year old. First bought the red, one size up but its opening was very narrow and we struggled to fit my son's toes through. Though once in, the toe area itself is wide. Exchanged for blue, two whole sizes up -- a good fit and with sandal's adjustability he has 3/4 inch to grow into (winter house slippers). Excellent sandals, though the closed-toe/heel retains more sand/grit. Will buy again. Zappos service was stellar on rush exchange before our big trip.

I love the shoe for my daughter. Perfect for all the walking during our 3 week Italy vacation! We did have her wear socks though at times, because the shoes really start to smell after a while. But, I tossed them in the washer and air-dryed them and all is well!

What can I say? Keens are just the best summer sandal you can put on your kid's feet. Not cheap, but worth it. I have put them in the washing machine, which removes general dirt. But one of my sons has really stinky feet, I do machine first, then give the footbed a good scrub. Works great. The color is outstanding. Really beautiful. My son's favorite color is red, and he adores them. His brother has the orange, and their dad and I wouldn't make it through the summer without them. (I wear a different style, reviewed separately.)

My son loves them! So we did Crocs for a while, but he would keep taking them off and would not wear the back strap. He loves to hike and run, so I figured I would give these a try. He loves them and I love them. They fit him well and while these were his first pair of Keens and they won't be his last.

Love this shoe for my 6 year old son! He loves them, too! This shoe can be used as a sandal and tennis shoe & eliminates the needs for multiple shoes in the summer. Easy on, easy off for him. Survived one week of camping & washed up nice!

Love the color and the improvements from the Newport style the Velcro makes them easier on and off bungee toggle unused for the most part.

Great shoes. My son can do most everything in these as he does in sneakers. A great summer athletic shoe for kids.

These have become my 2 1/2 year old's favorite shoes. He wears them almost every day. He has feet that are on the wider side, and these shoes fit great. No problems with blisters, or with stink, but being a messy boy, these shoes are in the washer at least once a week.

We got a pair of these for my two year old's birthday, and after that, these were all he would ever wear. They are extremely sturdy, dry easily, and he seems to be very comfortable in them. We ordered another pair in a different color and he loves them just as much. Keen is a very good brand.

I purchased these shoes for my 3 year old to wear at camp for "water day" - they are perfect. They protect his feet and dry quickly. Also, he can put them on and take them off by himself!

I bought these shoes for my 5 year old. They are great but not easy for her to get on by herself. And once they are wet (from the beach) they are even more difficult. However, if you are at the beach a lot and like climbing rocks etc., these are the shoes to get.
