Made traveling a little easier! Great size for carry on and has plenty of storage

This travel duffel with backpack straps appears to be built well, though material is quite light and is thinner than expected. Using this as a backpack is somewhat limited due to the design and lack of padding on the straps, but I like the option for a short duration like at the airport. This duffel is not large, but should work well as a carry on for most any plane. As duffels go, I think this is a good option for an open duffel that would be good for African Safaris and the like.

I love my new Base Camp Voyager Duffer 42L. I bought it as a carry on for my trip in Greece because of its size and weight. It has a lot of pockets, water proof, and stylish. I just hope it included instructions on how to put it back in its bag after use but overall I was happy with my purchase.

I love the color and it holds a lot of stuff. I also love the movable divider inside.

Perfect size to bring along in an airplane cabin, fits a lot of gear with a lot of smart pockets to compartmentalize clothes and shoes. Versatile handles, turns into a backpack or carry on. Love it!

I really love this backpack. I got it to serve as a "personal item" for those basic economy tickets that don't allow a full-size carry on. I do wish it came with a waist strap, but overall it's geat.

I use this bag for weekend trips up north. I bought this primarily for the weekend trips but also want it as my carry on when I fly. I don't bring a suitcase but wanted something I could pack full and carry on this bag which converts to easy backpack carry too

This bag is super durable but definitely not the biggest. I have other 42L bags and this one felt substantially smaller

So i had very high hopes for this duffel bag, unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations . Pro 1. Great looking 2. many different size pockets 3. color nice Cons 1. very heavy once fully packed 2. The shoulder straps are flimsy and painful when using as a backpack. 2. awkward to carry with one hand ( weight distribution is weirdly off. 3. no back support when in backpack mode. 4. absolutely needs a strap to connect the shoulder straps in the middle when being used as a backpack. almost dropped bag several times while using like a backpack. My other Northface backpacks have a secure strap. 5. lastly missing water bottle pockets. This will probably be my last duffel bag from Northface.

fits so much and my husband really liked this gift! uses it for everyday gym and for travel. although it looks big, fits underneath plane seat so you can use it as a carry on!
