I feel its a pity this bag could be so so much better with very little. The backpack mode works poorly, the straps are stiched very close together at the neck area and they put a lot of pressure on it. They are also not wide, the bend, and you feel them very quickly. A tiny little stern strap would improve the backpack experience a lot with very very little. In addition, the backpack straps are stiched to the operable lid, which means the bag transfers the load to the straps through the zip. It does feel like a design flaw...That zip is under a lot of pressure. Not sure how long it will last. The side handles cannot be stowed away, and the laptop pouch is placed right against your back. You dont need to be an ergonomics expert to realize that once you fill the bag, the stiff laptop clashes against the natural curve of your back and hits your vertebra... I would put a laptop pouch anywhere but against my back. The build quality is rather poor compared to other lines of products... it feels not very durable, and its a bag with very little self supporting structure (which isnt bad per se, its lightweight) but it will look awkard and rather unaesthetic at times. You can tell its a water repellent fabric but if you ever find yourself in a true rain situation it will not cut it. Too many weak seams and joins for the water to circulate. I feel this product has too many design flaws, its meant to look very functional but I think it does not perform. It has a rather poor built quality only in exchange of many compartments, pockets and a poorly placed laptop pouch. All these things could have been far better designed, and we would all enjoy a far superior bag. In fact, a lot of this flaws are not present in the camp base duffle bag, which is much better built, but lacking the "bells and whistles". If you need the bag to go to the gym, or do one weekend trip it will do ok, if you want to rely on it for a longer trip, and have the certainty that you carry great gear... thats not the choice.

This bag is just the right size to fit in the overhead compartment on airplanes, yet enough for a 4-5 day trip.

I used it as a carry on and it worked perfectly. It was easy to use and the quality appears excellent. One of the things I loved in particular is the "flip up lid style" opening.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she LOVES it. It folks up small, has a compartment for shoes and is apparently the "perfect carry-on".

The color is perfect. Just what I wanted. The bag is sturdy and well made. It will be used for airline travel, and it should hold up well.

Excellent travel bag for teenagers! No more grabbing chaotic stacks of clothes before leaving the house. Instead they jam it all into here and we look relatively organized.

I like that the bag is lightweight, durable, and surprisingly roomy. Its tough materials and simple design make it perfect for travel or everyday gear. A reliable bag that's easy to carry and built to last.

It's very roomy and great size pockets. But this bag is a duffle first and a backpack second. The backpack straps are not very ergonomically cut so it feels like it cuts the blood from my arms. As far as I can feel, the straps are sewn only to the outer skin and I doubt it's longevity carrying heavier loads greater than 7kg. Would recommend a zipper when straps are stored so that water does not pool in that area. Possibly add a drain hole at the bottom of the strap storage. Also the side handles are not quite in the center so it's awkward to carry it like a briefcase. The duffle is also an awkward wide shape like a pizza box so it's hard to carry it close to your body, or on your shoulder. The duffle bag straps are placed well and are designed for the duffle bag Good for storage, check-in, bad for everyday use. Don't get this to replace a backpack or satchel/briefcase.

I bought this bag last year primarily to use as travel bag for quick trips. I liked that it functioned as both a duffel and backpack and could suffice for a carry on in Europe if needed. However, I quickly learned that this was not the bag for airport travel. As a duffel it works fine, but as a backpack, this bag has no shoulder or back support. I struggled to lug it around because of the uncomfortable straps. If you are choosing between this and a travel backpack - go for the backpack.

Perfect travel carry on for short or longer trips. Roomy, well designed, quality materials, large external zip pockets, light weight but comfortable shoulder straps, side carry handle, easy to zip open top for full interior access, fits under airline seats. Makes travel fun, easy and super comfortable. Kudos to designers!

Used this duffle on a short 3 day trip to South Korea, super convenient when you're short on time and want to avoid checking in your bags. I was able to fit a day and night outfit for each day, an extra pair of shoes, my flat iron, and extra storage for all my skin care cosmetics.

This bag is the perfect size! Bought it for my husband to get his stuff back and forth to the gym, but now he uses it for everything. It was a great carry on that fit all his things for a 5 day work trip! The green color is a bit darker in person.

This bag was great for traveling by train through Central Europe. Very durable and held up perfectly in wet conditions. The laptop sleeve is a nice touch. Wish it had compression straps in the main compartment.
