As a TNF athlete, I've been running in these shoes for my races and big FKTs over the past year, as well as during key workouts. The Flight Vectiv are fast, light, and responsive. The carbon plate gives the shoes a responsive and performance feel, and combined with the rocker just makes you want to run fast. I really like the minimal upper, which fits like a glove and is super breathable. These shoes are also crazy light, which is awesome if you're running all day long (and I often am!). These are the shoes I wore for both the 93-mile Wonderland Trail FKT in August 2020 and the 80-mile Transgrancanaria in March 2020.

I love the look of this red pair, but very tough fabric and not molding onto my feet. I have flat feet and felt very uncomfortable besides the tightness too. I returned them and got Asics and Brooks instead.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, Asics

I'm really happy with the Flight VECTIV. I took them straight from the box to the trail - dirt, rocks, mud, snow and river crossings. They have held up well and so has my 50+ year old body thanks to their support. Last summer, for the first time, I was plagued by injuries- sprained ankle, plantar fasciitis, tendinitis - and missed a lot of trail time. This summer I was ready to get out again. The Flight VECTIV have been so great I'm thinking of getting a second pair so while one pair dries out, I can can slip on another.

Road shoes are already well into the carbon plate game but this was the only trail shoe I could find with a carbon plate, so I decided to give it a go. I was skeptical because there's little competition out there, but I was pleasantly surprised. The North Face got a few things right in my book: the carbon plate leaves my legs and feet feeling less beat up after long runs, there is plenty of room in the toe box, the shoe is light weight, the "knit" upper makes the shoe fit snug around the top of my foot without feeling stiff, which means no rubbing or hot spots and not a lot of room for dirt and rocks to sneak in. Also I ran right through puddles and mud on my first run and they did not feel water logged afterward. I'm really loving this shoe and wish there was a road versionalthough I've comfortably worn them on road runs too!

I don't typically write reviews, but I made an effort this time because these shoes are AMAZING! I wear them during my 12-hour shifts as a nurse and I came back for a second pair to wear while training for a half marathon. The stability, the support - all beyond amazing. Worth every penny!

I use these for hiking and they are absolutely amazing. I have trained for marathons and hike every now and then so ive collected many pairs of shoes over the coarse of a few years. But this is the first time ive gotten a pair from north face and they offer great comfort, stability and fit perfectly.

I love these trail shoes! They perform well, are lightweight and grippy to the earth, but don't give me blisters and allow me to be agile on my trail runs. I've taken them in the mountains of Montana and the black sand beaches of Iceland and they've served me well. Plus the color is lovely!

These trail runners are so much lighter and more comfortable than pairs I've run in from other brands, without sacrificing grip, stability or durability. I've put them through the ringer and they've held up! These are actually my 2nd pair and I love the new blue/green color because my white ones got pretty filthy pretty fast (though I suppose that's a badge of honor for a trail runner haha). Important note on sizing: my 1st pair was a little bigger than the same size I usually wear in my other running shoes, so I went 1/2 size smaller for my 2nd pair and they fit perfect.

I have never bought any North Face shoes before. So I was nervous about sizing. These running shoes fit perfectly out of the box! I have another brand of carbon plate running shoes and wanted some carbon plate trail running shoes. I have not had a chance to try these out on the trail yet. But I have ran some hills and I think these are going to be great! I love them so far. I could definitely use these for everyday running on the street as well. Very pleased with them.

Love these running shoes! I was sceptical when I first saw them. The slightly curved bottom is weird when you are just standing in them, but they really do help propel you. They literally fit like a glove. I need a shoe horn to get them on, especially with heavier socks. Lots of toe room. Great support and cushioning. I bought them to replace a pair of Saucony which broke down fast! I use these to run on rocky BLM lands and they are great! I can barely feel the rocks. The hefty price tag, made me hesitant but if these last long they will be well worth it. I think they could be a little snazier, perhaps a different color, other than white, considering they are trail runners and thus will get dirty fast.

Comfortable, responsive, good traction. Moderately light at 8.64 oz; they feel lighter, though. I wear 7 or 7.5 in running shoes, but got a 6.5 because these run quite big. The 6.5 fits perfect. I'd wear these for a longer trail race or run. (I typically wear Saucony Peregrine, which have great traction, but feel so much heavier.) The North Face wasn't on my radar for running shoes but I'm so glad I found them. Also- they're fun!

I'm very satisfied with this purchase. The unique support feels like I almost bounce when I'm running which really lessens the impact on my legs and back. They run a little big.

Really shocked at the traction and it's always needed whether you're on greasy mud or slick conditions, always need sure footing.

These are amazing! The upper felt stiff right iff the box but within the first few miles on the trail I no longer felt the material. Definitely a rocker! Great at driving the stride to the midfoot, my calves were burning the following day! Excited to add these to the rotation

This shoe allows me to explore any terrain with full confidence. Mud, rocks, roots, asphalt. This shoe performs while still being light underfoot. I've never had so much confidence in a shoe that performs on any and all terrain. The Flight Vectiv is a groundbreaking shoe that transpires across the needs of all trail runners. And, all this while being a light, nimble, high-performance shoe. I have very picky feet, and this shoe has blown all of my expectations.

The TNF Flight Vectiv Series is my go-to shoe for going fast in the mountains. It is stiff and responsive, powering you up steep and uneven terrain and rolling your hips and body forward to carry momentum up even the most aggressive climb. I think where it excels most however is on the downhills! The grippy rubber on the sole of the shoe makes me feel secure on everything from snow to wet rocks and roots to loose gravel and shale. Running in the shoe feels like running in a fancy sports car, sleek, sporty, lightweight, and just happier moving faster!

So I went to the chairopractor who told me I needed good shoes for the gym. It took some getting used to with the elastics in the shoe but my back pain was nearly gone after 2 weeks of wearing them. Great color! Super fun! Just wish they had orange too!

Super cozy, like you're walking on a cloud. They do ride high on the back of your ankle, so prepare for some potential blisters!

I like how light and "breathable" these are. I haven't tried them through water but I think they'd dry really quickly which is great. The "sock" around the ankle is tight a bit hard to get on but then once it's on, there's enough of a gap for me I still get rocks/sand in my shoe. Not a true "sock" type of top but I have skinny ankles too. I'd love a normal tongue/ankle set up. I haven't had trail or road shoes that needed breaking in for awhile (also running in two other brands) but after some one-off initial blisters on my lower achilles I haven't had any issues.
