They are great for hiking or wearing out around town. I love that they look like high top sneakers too.

Love love love these. I started struggling with Plantar Fasciitis and the only thing that has really helped is a wide shoe. These Ladies shoes were a bit tight for me so I returned and got the men's ordered the men's version. They they are perfect! They are awesome hikers. I plan to get the shoe version in the spring.

I live in the mountains of NC...this shoe works great. I put it on and did not need to break it in, which is a plus. Very fashionable and looks great with present day fashion! I bought all the hiking boots for women that Northface offers.

These boots are awesome. The look and feel like such great quality. They have a great grip and the way you rock back and forth when you walk makes it so easy to go fast and far without getting tired. I would say the run a tiny bit small. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10, I needed a 10 in these boots. I am going to buy a pair of the men's version for my boyfriend so that he can keep up with me on the trail.

Love these hiking shoes! So lightweight and comfortable that you wouldn't know they are made for hiking. I bought to bring to Iceland but am using here in Minnesota, too. Rugged and great grip. Glad you are energy conscious and part of the shoes is made with recycled rubber. Yet, durable and comfortable. True to size.

I just got home from my first major technical hike and these boots saved me. I didn't have to think about my feet at all the whole time, and even on a first wear i had no blisters or discomfort. Please don't change these, they're fantastic!

These shoes are just what I was looking for. A true rocker sole and lots of cushioning as recommended by podiatrists for arthritis in the foot. They are very comfortable and enable me to hike longer distances. The medium width works with my narrow feet with thick socks. The light color is beautiful when new, but may not look as good after hiking on dusty trails. I am happy with these shoes; please do not change them.

I bought these to hike in the eastern sierras. I broke my foot in March, so I wasn't expecting to be able to handle hikes longer than a mile. These had me pain-free for 4+ miles. They grip well, even on slippery pond rocks. They cushion and seem to propel me forward. I'm 5'2" and was setting a great pace for my 6'4" and 6'5" hiking pals. Buy them; you won't regret it.

I spend two to three days a week in the White Mountains and have found these boots to be my new favorite summer/spring boot! They provide great support and the cushion is amazing on the rocky terrain. I thought the grip may not be able to handle the bald rocks but I was wrong, they are getting a work out each week. Average about 35-40 miles a week and they are holding up great.

These were great hiking boots. Wore them while hiking Acadia national park. Gave great ankle support and great grip on the boulders.
