I had purchased a pair of Cohesion 13 and I am a moderate walker. After 4 months, the heel padding on BOTH shoes was worn completely off with the hard plastic supports showing through. I used the defect form and chose a pair of Kinvara 11. After 20 minutes on the treadmill, I was developing a blister on my right heel. Let me tell you...it has been probably 20 years since a new pair of shoes blistered my feet! But, in the interest of giving them a fair shake, I waited a couple weeks and just this morning, I tried them again. As soon as I put them on I could feel my heel rubbing. I loosened laces, tightened laces, changed socks...still slipping on my heel. So I thought maybe now that I was so fixated on it, maybe I was overreacting. So I jumped on the treadmill anyway. After 15 mins, I could feel it wasnt going well...but JUST on my right heel. So, I take the shoes off and run my hands down into the shoe at the heel. The left heel is nice and smooth and contoured down into the shoe. The right heel has a pronounced lump...so much that you can also see it! It almost feels like the padding under the fabric either bunched up, or doesn't go all the way down. I'm not exactly sure. In any case, I've now submitted ANOTHER defect form!! And yet again, I am without shoes. I have to say, I'm hoping it's just bad luck, as this type of poor quality is definitely not giving me a positive impression of Saucony.

* Material behind heal wore out quickly. * Bottom sole under foot pads (balls of feet), have holes! * The soles act like soft pencil erasers on concrete. While initially feel soft, they wear out quickly. *Wore interchangeably with another pair, wore out after three months. Walk approximately 5 miles 5-6 x's a week. I get shoes though use break down, but this was too much.

The sneaker feels great when you put it on and is fine for walking, but you will experience a mechanical failure when running. Even a slight turn or step off a straight line or level pavement will possibly end your workout and send you to the ER.

I came back to Kinvara because I loved the shoe, especially the 6 for running,. I bought the Kinvara 11 in April. Loved the fit and comfort, but after 2 1/2 months of moderately paced walking miles (3-4 miles/day, 5 days/week) the fabric on the interior of the heels has worn through resulting in blisters. So very disappointed, as I hoped a shoe with this price tag should hold up for longer than 3 months of walking miles.

When I first got these, I loved them. Then for some reason after two weeks, my heels started slipping in them and I got terrible blisters. Also the tread has almost worn off in one month of using them. I'm sad because I lived them at first.

I have been a loyal Kinvara user for over 10 years. I use these shoes for long walks and workouts . When the new ones came out this year I purchased with excitement as I do every time I am due for new ones. To my dismay every time I walk in them the sides of my foot are in excruciating pain. At first I thought I just had to wear them in but no, there seems to be much less support in this shoe than previous years and I cannot wear them for walking AT ALL. Not sure what changed but I definitely to not recommend this shoe for anything other than going to the grocery or grabbing your mail. Shame.

I LOVE Kinvara. It's the only shoe I use. LOVED Kinvara 10s in my size (10) because it fit so well, it helped me feet and knees during my runs and it was just a happy fit for me, so naturally I was excited when Kinvara 11 came around. I purchased Kinvara 11. Just finished my run and now my foot hurts. Perhaps I should've bought a 1/2 size bigger. It's tight, even though I usually get shoes in my size. My feet felt numb during my run, and now it just hurts. I'm wondering if because the weather is warmer that my feet swell and so it would naturally fall that I'd need to get a bigger size, in which case I'd feel like a dummy.
